Nowhere To Run (Hunger Games RP) Semi-Lit

Amber swore and kicked the door angrily. It squeaked at it's hinges, but held. She kicked at the door again, when it suddenly opened. Amber yelped as she lost her balance and landed face first, onto the ground. She sensed someone crouch down and poke her on the head. "Your parents are here to say their fina-, I mean their goodbyes." the person said.
You were going to say "final". Amber thought bitterly. You think I don't stand a chance. But what the person did say was true. Against 44 tributes? Hopeless. "Are you going to lie down with your face in the mud the whole day?" the person scowled, and Amber looked up. "I'm your mentor, Sam Cruce," the person said. "And I can tell you do not have a chance in winning. These games are harder than you think, they are designed to-"
"Shut up." Amber muttered as she saw her father lead her mother towards her.
"What, did you just say?" Sam asked incredulously.
"Shut up." Amber repeated. "Stop blabbering." She pushed Sam aside and ran towards her parents. Her father hugged her tight, until her ribs felt as if they were cracking. None of them said anything. There was no need. Sam stood behind them, hands in pockets, staring down at his shoes. Great. Just what I need. A hot-headed tribute who disrespects her mentor.

Weapon Of Choice: Her charms. For an actual weapon, spear and net/snare combo.
Personality: Katelyn is a charmer. She's the girl who can wrap guys around her finger with a smile then break their heart. With her friends, she is a really nice person, but there are a lot of people who don't like her because she hurt them, she hurt a friend, or they're jealous of her. She likes to get her way, and will fight for it if she needs to. She is nice and pretty on the outside, but on the inside is a raging fire.
Likes: Boys, getting what she wants
Dislikes: Losing, her first ex, her father
Strengths: Her beauty, personality, and spirit can make people under estimate her ability to kill/ get people to keep her around longer
Weaknesses: She's not good with a lot of weapons, and she's smart, but not super smart. She will try to be the leader, which might end up in a fight.
Greatest Fear: Being chosen for the Hunger Games, dying a slow and painful death
History: Katelyn's first boyfriend, Nick, broke her heart when she found out he was dating 3 other girls at the same time, and she was the only one who didn't know. He then broke up with her, effectively shredding what was left of her heart, and moved away. She began to believe that all boys would break your heart if you didn't break theirs first, so that's exactly what she did. She made herself beautiful and irresistible to the boys, hurting them one by one so they would never hurt anyone else. This "My heart will heal if I break the heart's of others" idea might have come from her father, who was abusive towards her. Her mother died while she was giving birth to Katelyn, and Katelyn's father blames her. She hopes she never ends up in the Hunger Games, but if ((or in the case of this RP, when)) her name is drawn, she wants to make her father proud.
Habits: She twirls hair around her fingers when she's flirting, and pushes it behind her ear when she's nervous.
Other: The Jabberjays were creepy in CF!
