Rider smirked at him, shaking her head and chuckling lightly, "I don't think that's enough," she retorted, looking right into his brown eyes with her own.

Shaan looked down at the floor, "Oh, okay." he murmured, "how about your flying?" he asked as he lifted his head up to her.

"You can fly too can't you? You were fused with Jack Frost," Rider pointed out, smiling at him, "But, yeah, I can fly..." she rose in the air slowly, smirking down at Shaan.

[tolkien quitting]

Shaan cocked his head again, "I'm fused with Jack Frost?" he asked, looking down at his hands and turning them over. He looked up at Rider and laughed softly, "Cool."

[Vraska the Unseen]

Naula stood, beginning to pace again.

Rider smiled at him, her brown eyes glittering, "Try it," she said.

Listening slowly to Rider's voice and the resulting disagreement about her screwing things up, Nathan really didn't want to bring to light the fact that he really didn't have anything to add to the group until he could figure things out. Flying was definitely not a power of his. That would be a really cruel joke. He was scared of heights, for heaven's sakes. He honestly wasn't miffed at Cerveis's trying to move ahead--was there really anything between him and Rider to leave behind? Nope. He grinned, dusting off his arm and imagining that he was just really hungry. He discarded the stupid train of thought with a "They're going to have to feed us soon. Really, it's not going to be pancakes and orange juice, but maybe we'll end up with something sustaining. I really doubt a group of teens with an empty stomach, no matter what craziness happens with their powers, can break out just yet."

With a sharp intake of breath, Sam realized just how hungry she was. She could take it for an hour or two, though. She took her mind off of it with her best talent. Chattering. "Flying? Cool!" she exclaimed with a grin. "I don't think it would be a good idea to let me fly, though. There would probably be a lot of screaming." On that fun note she had left to the imagination, she stared at the door as if she could make food walk in.

Rider looked over at Nathan smiling, he was such an optimist. She returned to the rafters, looking down at the various people in the room. Running a hand through her dark, curly hair she smiled, her brown eyes sparkling as she did so.

Cerveis sighed. "Rider, would that be a yes?" He asked.

Rider looked down at Cerveis, smiling, "It's a fair question," she said.
