What does she remind you of? Somnium reminds me of the unquenched desires of the artist, how they just burn to express themselves to a canvas that understands them without judgement. Somnium also reminds me of the velvety darkness that awaits everyone of us when we close our eyes to sleep or when we become hypocritical, that deep purple sings of warning and regret. Somnium reminds me, especially when the purple gives way to lighter colors, that it is very possible to climb out of that inky pool of regret to the lighter side no matter what you have done, in attempts to redeem yourself.
