I have a really weird question but I really would like to know: in America, is 'allowed' {as in 'You are allowed to go out tonight'} spelt as 'aloud'?

nope :3

Aloud: He did not realize he had spoken his thoughts aloud.
Allowed: My mom allowed me to go to the movies.

edit;; allowed sounds weird now...

@Scene Ooh, I didn't know that. Looks like i need to do more research. But, generally, in the areas that he finds himself in the RPs, his name is pretty uncommon. He's never been in Germany, unfortunately.

@Pockyy Noope. 'Aloud' is something said out loud, so it has nothing to do with something being allowed. I think it's spelled the same everywhere. uwu

Thanks guys xD I was only asking because I looked at this roleplay that was labelled literate, and the user used 'aloud' instead of 'allowed'. For some reason, it irks me ._.

how commeth this? --> 'how com'st that? --> 'how came it? --> How come?

"How come?" is actually short for "How came this to be?" Really, really short for it. >->

Dude when the mod of a lit rp makes spelling errors or grammar errors in the posts introducing their rp, I immediately leave unless it's like 1 small error. You're not allowed to ask for perfect mechanics when you can't manage it yourself.
