I only see my name every now and then. Kind of the same ratio that I actually meet people with my name.

Sometimes character names really annoy me. There's a line between being unique and just trying too hard. WAY too hard. I can appreciate a unique name, but when you have paragraphs of what this "aboriginal shamanist monkey" (that was a hyperbole) name means and it's just so damn out there, I'm tempted to deny them. I dislike people who are clearly trying to make their character stick out to that extent.

Incidentally, I met a boy named Dakota Peacock before

      I joined Awesomesauce as well :3

      I actually don't like even numbers. And 5 is one of my least favorite numbers, haha. XD My favorite numbers are 3 7 and 13.

      I've never seen someone with a character that has my name, yet my name is pretty common. -oddness-

          I've only had one incident where someone had the same character name as mine, but I was happy to change since they posted their form first xD I try to use unique names, because then there is less chance of having another character with the same.

          @ nosebleed -- okay shoot me a pm or something if you need any ideas etc c: and yes it was a powers roleplay with hopefully interesting plot twists, I'm haven't checked out the site fully yet but I will probably just copy the posts from here and see who's interested ^^

          @artesian -- sure ^^ true, I haven't really been pm'ing people like 'finish your form I beg D:' but yeah I'll put a message on here when it's open on AS {sorry for the abbreviating, typing on my tablet is so annoying}

      >.< I need to work on Olivia's form. I'm so sowwy for not finishing it yet.

      @nosebleed;; I've only been in one roleplay that had a character name Augustus, and that role play died. It was a while back, but I remember. What is Augustus like?

          @ Glu - I know wht crystallize is about. I almost joined x.x But yeah. People just like even things. Though I do agree with the "fives" thing.
          MONEY. MONEY. I JUST REALIZED. Holy crap, government. Everything is in fives! wth?

          @ noseys - Blah. I know. It's kind of funny. Because people are all like "KEEP GENDERS EVEN" and I'm like "YOU'RE FORGETTING SOME PEOPLE ROLE PLAY HOMOSEXUALS!" ._.

          @ scene - I've always wanted to, but then i chicken out last minute ... Because I don't want to end up just dropping out of the role play. -.-
          I don't think your sick. It's fun. In my novel, I'm writing out my character's death scene ATM. :}

          @ Glu Again - I think that would be interesting, actually ... 8i'm sad, I know.
          What role play? How would the Mary-Sue die?
          Ignore my weird curiosity por favor!

I've seen a couple of characters with my name, and it always annoys me when they get the nicknames wrong. I know people with my name would be called other things for short, but I still feel like they're getting it wrong :\ No character I've ever seen has had my surname though, which is odd, because it's really common, but it might just be common in England, not America.

On another note, would anyone be interested in a roleplay that's set up in chapters? I'm coming up with random chapter names based on songs, random thoughts and inaminate objects and sort of giving them each a little bit of plot so that whilst there's freedom within each chapter, the roleplay will move on definitively throughout. It's still only a work in progress, but I'd like to know if this sounds vaguely appealing before I throw all of my effort into it.

Now that I read a book with that name, and seriously was sad for days afterward, I see that name all the time. Its like the world is out to get me.

I don't see many people with characters names the same as my character names, which is surprised. My character names are NOT unique. My favored ones are Rose, Jace, and Kaleena, and more recently, Aiden. So yeah, not reallyunique at all. I suppose I should work on that, but I like them...

I think people squirm at the thought of having super common names. There is zero problem having the name William or Sara or something.

AND WHEN PEOPLE TRY AND MAKE THE SPELLING OF THE NAME SO COMPLICATED THAT IT TAKES ME 2 MINUTES TO TRY AND FIGURE OUT WHAT THEIR NAME IS GOD

@city: jooooooooooooiiiiiiiin

@intriguing: yes please.
