Now alone, Badger simply strolled away from the herdland swamps and to an area where rarely anyone seemed to be. He settled himself down under a pretty large tree to think. Mother Soul
Mother gave a warning nicker to Yenisei telling him to slow down a bit. Mother then noticed that Saundra had frozen, she turned to see what had scared the youngster. On seeing that it was another group of kelpies let out a welcoming wicker. Pricking her ears and moving a bit closer to get a beater look at theses new kelpies.

Saundra:
Saundra was the first to notice the small group of kelpies, and froze. And just stared at them till Mother let out a welcoming wicker. Saundra moved in close to Mother pushing up against her flank and almost tripping over her tail.

Yenisei

Yenisei bounced ahead of the group Slip chitterlings in his ear. He pretended not to hear his mother, but then suddenly everyone one else slowed down and turned. Yenisei made a quick turn and saw the other group of kelpies. He quickly bound up to Mother's side just in case he need to protect them. His brother had the same idea and was standing on the other side of Mother close to Saundra. Yenisei mad a mental note so that way he could teas his brother later.

Trstama:

Trstama was debating on which prank they should play first when they meet up with the herd. When suddenly Sundra stopped. Trstama had to nearly sit on his but to stop from running in to her, making Ghost give a hot of anoyince. When he looked to see what had stopped her and noticed the bunch of kelpies near by. Trstama fallowed Saundra to Mother and stoped so he was standing just a little bit in front. Just in case he need to protect them, Hennery crawled up between his ears and raised his head poised to strike if need.

She shot a glare at Crius once again. " I Don't know what your talking about" she said flustered and stuck her chin up, trying to deny her growing shyness and trotted closer to her father's side between Crius.

He nickered a friendly hello back, slowing down as he got closer. Turning his head a little to tell the kids " Quit your bickering and be nice" before going back to inspecting the kelpies in front of him. It seemed to be a lone mother, two foals, and another younger mare that seemed a bit spooked. He hoped not to scare them but to join in on their travels, only hoping they weren't searching for the oldest mares mate of some sort. She seemed very interesting to him and although he had foals of his own he coulnt stop his charm from coming up as he approached them. Stopping at a distance and tipping his head in greeting before saying "good day to you"

He rolled his eyes at his sister and continued to keep pace and finally stopped, head high up and chest slightly puffed out. He looked from his sister to the two mares and two foals before frowning and then looking to his sister and purposely kicked her back leg with his hind hoof before grinning mischievously.

Kody watched his daughter and the new stallion with hawk like eyes. After all, Nikki was his baby girl and he didn't want anything to happen to her.

Kelpies name: Kassandra, she's named after the Trojan princess who knew the future but was never believed.

Kelpies Personality: Kassandra is an interesting mare for sure. She's hard and tough, as the bayou demands all things within it to be. However, she also has a dreaming, artistic side because of all the stories she's been told. To her, everything is part of a living story, one who's end is not very clear, and that fascinates her to no end. She's always looking around the corner and into the future as far as she can, with livid curiosity in her bright purple eyes.
While she was raised a loner, she doesn't go out of her way to avoid other kelpies. On the flip side, she only occasionally seeks out others, she usually lets other kelpies decide whether or not to approach the mare. In accordance to stallions and love, she's leaving that entirely up to fate. After all, in all of those stories, true love has always found a way to put the right people together, so it shouldn't be any different for kelpies.
In a pinch, she's the one to stand by your side, unless she feels the need to save her own hide. So she's loyal, but only to a point. While she can be selfish and distant, she can really rise up to meet any challenge if she chooses to. This leads her to have a streak of stubbornness which sometimes conflicts with her reason and her good intentions.

"We are all just stories in the end."

Kass was quietly slipping through the bayou, trying not to leave a trail. She'd just gone to the old man's house to listen to his daily reading time. He'd finished only a moment ago, smiling at the bayou then moving into his shack. The kelpie mare quickly reached a distance she felt that was far enough away from the shack for her to start being careless. A snort blew her dark colored nostrils wide and her hooves hit the peaty ground of the swamps with force and a 'thump' every time they touched down. While she still felt tranquil from listening to stories, she hated that her children hadn't been with her. Then again, she hadn't been very faithful in trying to keep in contact with Desiderius and her twins.
She sighed and one of her hooves hit the ground in a particularly muddy spot, and mud flew up and splattered her chest. Why can't it work out like in the stories? Happily ever after and all? But no, her own daydreamer life was in contrast with her ideas of a perfect life. She broke through the brushes she had been walking alongside and picked up a quicker pace.
Kassandra skirted the herd's main territory and ended up on the outer edges of the official herd territory. And as she was wandering, she spotted something that interested her. A big tree, and under it, a stallion. She slowed, head tilting to the side in curiosity. While she wasn't just going to go up and talk to Badger, she did send a nicker his way. But seeing this stallion got her thinking, had she passed by any other kelpies without noticing?
Now that she thought about it, she might've passed a couple of other stallions(Cyote and War Hero) on her way here, but was unsure if they had noticed her.
