Night watched the trees, and turned her head, relaxing her senses. She wished to settle properly for the night and was about to rise to find a more sheltered place to slumber when she caught the acute sound of a snapping twig, it came sharply to her ears.

"Who's there?" she asked, calling into the dusk light, unsure of herself "Is somebody there?" she quavered. Unsure of what her reply would be she stood in as assertive a way as possible, ready to flee or charge what met her. She swung her head, trying to see what had stepped on a twig.

It's nothing she dismissed, My mind is fooling me she promised herself

She made a squeaked out neigh as her brother bumped into her, not even relishing he had come up behind her until the stick had broke and he was bumping into her. She turned her head and glared at him. "That wasn't funny!" She said exasperated
