Okay, so I couldn't save the world this time. I was cool with it. I mean, it's not like I LIKED saving the world or anything.
WHA?! I CAN'T SAVE THE WORLD?!! OMW I'M GONNA DIEEEE!!!You're sounding like Flower. Now come on! Get in here!Get in where?! Huh?Rhubarb rolled his eyes.
The big ship that's right in front of you.I then sudden realized that there was a big ship right in front of me!
Hey, Rhubarb! There's this big ship in front of me!You don't say.I don't say what? What don't I say?Nothing.I say nothing? Okay, that's a total lie because I'm speaking right now, so I can't be saying nothing.I meant that I'm not explaining it so you should shut up about it.That's what I said? Man, that's a mouthfull.Rhubarb slapped his face.
Just. Get. In. The ship.Okay!
Wait, where's flower?I dunno. Probably fell in a hole somewhere. Now get in!I nodded and went through the ship's door. As soon as I did, it slammed shut behind me. I looked out the window that was on the door and stared into Rhubarb's eyes.
Sorry, Amy. But this isn't your story any longer.Huh? What'd he mean?
What're you talking about? This is all just a story, Amy. You've been the main character for a long time, and I think it's time that I become the main character. What the heck are you talking about, Clyff?!I'm just Rhubarb. I lied about being Clyff. You what?!And that Banishment land? I made that. I could escape at any time, and I was trying to leave you there but you wouldn't leave me. So when I tried returning to Earth, you did too. I don't have the strength to kill you myself, though, so I have to do this now, Amy.Do what now?Send you away. Good luck.Wait! Rhuba-The ship I was in suddenly started rumbling. It transformed and turned into a small box, so small that I could barely stand in it. Then the rumbling stopped. I felt around the box, trying to find an exit. I turned around to where I had looked at Rhubarb. Instead of being the ship door with a window on it, it was now just a plain, wooden door. I turned the knob on it slowly and stepped out. As soon as I did, a winter breeze hit my face. I shivered and stepped out all the way. As soon as I did, the door slammed behind me and the box I had been in disappeared.
I suddenly heard footsteps and turned around.

The lion blinked at me. At first I thought it was going to attack me, but then it nudged it's head to the right, signalling me to follow it. I slowly started following it. Why was I following a complete stranger, you might ask? Well, it was better than sitting in the cold. Snow started to fall, and soon it was a blizzard. The lion's mane blew in the wind, but it didn't look cold nor hot. It kept on walking forward. I shivered and followed as fast as I could. The lion stopped suddenly, and I almost ran into it. It turned to me and blinked.
What? The lion nudged it's head forward and I looked forward. It was a cave.
You want me to go in there? The lion nodded.
Okaaaay.... hey, why aren't you talking? The lion nudged it's head pointed it's paw to it's throat. I nodded understandingly. It must've been mute.
Okay, I'll go.I started to walk forward and walked into the cave. The cave was definitely warmer then the blizzard outside. I kept on walking until I reached the end of the cave. At the end of the cave was a door. I cautiously stepped toward the door and touched the handle. I put my ear to the door, but I couldn't hear anything. I shrugged and opened the door. As soon as I did, bright light filled my eyes and then everything went in fast-motion. I was sucked through the door and into a colorful bright atmosphere. I sped forward, floating through the bright colors. Then there was a white light and I stopped flying, and suddenly appeared in a bedroom. To my right was Jenette, who looked at me strangely. I looked to my left and saw Gish. Beside Gish was Suzi. Beside Suzi was Ginger. We all looked at each other, not sure what was going on.
I suddenly heard a spring of a bed move and looked up. We were in someone's room. It was a good-sized room, not too small but not too big. There was a small Christmas tree, a desk, a dresser, a night-stand, two bookcases full of books, a CD player, a few lamps, two shelves that hung on the wall, four posters that were tacked to the wall, and a bed. In the bed was a girl with short brown wavy hair with her bangs brushed to the left side of her forehead. Her dark brown eyes stared at us (her words will be in pinkish-orange).
Is this a dream?Uh.... Jenette? Why doesn't she look like a dog?It can't be... she's a... human! What's a human?I've heard of them before. I just thought they were mythical.Hey, did you just call her a dog?... I said mythical, not Maltese.Oh.... I knew that. But she must not be mythical if she's right here in front of our eyes.Where is "here", exactly? How are you guys here? What's going on?Wait, you know us?Of course, you're characters in my book.Characters in your book? What do you mean? The girl got out of her bed, went over to a bookcase, and took out a book. She handed it to Jenette and Jenette opened it. Her eyes grew large.
Amy.... I think you should see this.I looked at the book and read a few pages.
Hey, this sounds familiar. Have I read this before?Amy... look closely at it. Read carefully.I read carefully at the first few pages. And then it clicked. I snapped my head up and glared at the girl.
YOU READ MY DIARY!No, I wrote it.That makes no sense. If it's my diary, then I wrote it.Yes, you did write it, but I wrote you.Huh?You guys are all just characters in my book, TIAJNAD.The girl pointed to the book that was in Jenette's hands.
I made you, Amy, the main character. Then I added these other guys later on. The story's ultimately about you, Amy, but every now and then I add some entries from the other characters. But this is probably a dream, so why explain more?I....I turned to Jenette and gave her a confused look.
Um... this isn't a dream. Wait, what's your name?Oh, sorry. I'm Tori. And this is of course a dream! How else would you be here?Does it feel like a dream?... No, but it never does when you're actually IN the dream.Jenette looked over at me.
Amy, I think she's telling the truth. We're all just characters in a book.Wait, wait, wait. So... YOU-I pointed at Tori.
-have written my whole life?!Yeah, pretty much.Wait, so you can kill us at any moment just by WRITING it?!Yeah, that's pretty much how it works. I can write anything down and it'll happen to my characters. I can make anything happen in what I call "my book world", where you guys are probably from. Now, I have to wake up, because this is getting weird.Tori crawled back into bed, smiled at us, and then closed her eyes. She opened them again and had a strange look on her face. She closed them and opened them again.
Why aren't I waking up?We've told you already. This isn't a dream. We're in your world, somehow. She turned to me.
Amy? She's telling the truth. I can tell. We're all just characters in a book.Wait, so how are you saying that if she isn't writing it?Maybe.... sometimes My Book World takes a mind of it's own? Maybe I'll write this later and it's just happening now.So... everything here that's happened, you wrote?Pretty much, yeah.Every moment I had lived had been written out by her, then? Jenette suddenly snapped her head up and charged at Tori.
You mean you made Clyff die?!Uh... uh...YOU KILLED CLYFF!!I was just trying to make a good story!!YOU THINK A GOOD STORY IS KILLING OFF MY BOYFRIEND?!Jenette! Calm down!HOW?! HOW CAN I CALM DOWN?! SHE. KILLED. MY. BOYFRIEND!Jenette brought back her fist. But Tori suddenly ducked out of the way just as Jenette brought it down. Jenette ended up punching a pillow, and Tori jumped to her feet and knocked Jenette down.
How-how did you know what I was going to do?I made you. I know your every move.Jenette, you need to calm down. Yes, she might have killed Clyff. She might have had my parents sell me, too. But she didn't know. She was just trying to write a story.Suzi's right. How could she have known? And what'd I say? I just stood there and blinked. still trying to take it all in. Jenette got to her feet and looked at Tori.
I... uh.... I'm sorry for almost punching you. And for yelling at you.'Sokay. I guess I sort of deserved it. I'm sorry about Clyff. But, if you want, I can bring him back.Jenette suddenly blinked.
Wait, isn't Rhubarb Clyff?Oh, no, of course not! I just made him say that to fool you. He's always had this tricky sort of nature. I still don't know how you're here, though.Rhubarb tricked me into this spaceship and then into this blizzard thing and then this creepy mute lion tried to lead me into a cave and then I appeared here. You should know, though, I mean you wrote it, right?Huh? I didn't write any of that...Something strange is going on.Wait, one second. Let me check something.Tori ran out of her room and into a hallway. She sat down at a computer and brought up a website. She logged into the website and then went onto a page labeled "The Banishment Land - Third Book In The TIAJAND 2 Series!". What the heck was that?! She scrolled down a few posts and showed us everything that had happened before Rhubarb had put me in the ship.
See? Nothing about a spaceship. This is freaky.I read over what she had written about me, and it was exactly word-for-word about what had happened to me. Maybe what she was saying was true...
Wait.Tori looked at the clock that was at the bottom of her computer.
How long have you been here?I dunno, five minutes?Five minutes ago it was midnight. You arrived exactly at midnight... and at midnight it turned Christmas day!Wait, it's Christmas?!Yeah, see?Tori pointed at the date on her computer, and it read December 25, 2012.
But what does Christmas have to do with anything?I don't know, but isn't it odd that you appeared her at exactly midnight on Christmas day? That was a bit weird... Tori's eyes suddenly lit up as she realized something, but soon lost their energy.
Oh no.What?Come on, I'll show you.Idea of them coming into "our world" by Rebel Faery!
