Ghost lifted his head, his ears flicking, as he heard sounds of another horse (Nyx). Nickering low and comfortingly at the mare and foal, he said, "Wait here". Getting to his feet, shaking off the light dusting of snow from his coat, he made his way out of the hidden valley again. A mare appeared, standing out from the snow. He didn't like the thought that someone had followed them to his hidden valley, though when his nostrils flared and caught the scent of a lone mare, he thought he'd see what could be made of it.
"Why were you following us?" He asked, his blue eyes taking in everything from the scene in front of him. He pondered why he had been followed, and he was curious as to why.

I dipped my head, knowing to be courteous to the stallion.
"I caught your scent, and needed a strong stallion to protect me." she said, pawing the ground softly. It was true that she needed a herd and a stallion, but the strong dark mare could protect herself against the worst threats. However, she needed a stallion that matched her in temperment, and Ghost seemed to fit the bill.

Jewel She smiled at lucky and began to walk "springs almost here" she said happily. Spring was her favorite time of year, she loved seeing all the little foals running around and playing. She flicked her tail than looked at lucky "where should we go, cause its not exactly freezing anymore" she said happily

Cloud He noticed that the other stallions were not joining in the mares game, so he began to playfully chase her. His muscles rippled as he ran "hello my names cloud" he said to her while he was running. He liked that spring was coming, it felt good to really stretch his muscles out again. He quickly caught up to the mare and he smiled a flirty smile.

it really had nothing to do with looking t him or not its just when I did a faint blush came to my face and then I didn't know way to say. There was also the fact that my mare was a buckskin stallion much like this one though he was taller much more like a draft horse. "My herd was in this very valley when it got split up by an opposing stallion. He succeeded in take over but killed all the foals and fillies not to mention chased away all the older colts," i say still wondering what they were doing here as most horses didn't pass through these parts as they were close to the mountains and since the stallion chased most if the horses away. I had no idea were my old herd was, but I was still sad when I noticed the stallion killing my mate or rather the stallion. "Would you mind if I tagged along?" i didn't want to be alone much longer especially in this weather and not wanting to be stuck here thinking about my sad past.

I smirked at Casanova, tossing my mane flirtatiously.
"Why, I must be lucky. Seems to me like you'd be swarmed with mares by now, handsome." she replied captivatingly, her brown eyes soft. She grinned and spun away from the quartet. "I'm Sunshine." she called to Voi, before trotting a few steps.

"Betcha can't catch me!" she whinnied over her shoulder before darting off, inviting the stallions to give chase.

Voi smiled and looked at Opal, both had the same thought in their mind.
And almost at the second, they bolted away toward Sunshine like lightning. Voi and Opal was the fastest of them, and they never got a winner in their race.
Opal came first closer and could touch the mares leg with his muzzle if he tryied. But not long after, Voi came closer and could smell her fur as his nose was right beside her shoulder. They both speeded up and the mare was almost trapped between them, a smirk on their faces was all they needed to give when they where almost faster than her.
Casanova spun after them in a heavy galopp, but wasn't that quick.
Tabio sighed with a small laugh and came trotting after them as he looked at the crazy willing in their eyes when they ran.

Dee squealed as the thundering clump of stallions headed in her direction, all focused on the one mare. Her heat scent was already strong but the mare's was not as much. Ears back she paniced in search of a place to run. Opal, Voi, Tabino, and Casanova all chasing the one mare. Already having a greedy desire in the eyes of Voi and Opal. As strong as they looked she could not really admire them running full tilt straight at her. Where was Edge? Whinnying loudly again she looked around frantically.

Cloud He saw dee whinnying and realized that they were all running straight towards her. He moved himself so he was on the outside of the group and would make sure they would not go near dee. He glanced at the stallions and saw the look of greed in their eyes and he could not believe that they were thinking like that, cloud was just here to join in their game. He whinnied warning dee to try to get out of sight, than turned his attention back towards the stallions. He slowed down to a trot and went back up to dee "Ill protect you until Edge comes back" He said to her, he did not want any of those stallions to take his friend away from edge.

I squealed as the two stallions trapped me between them, I was having fun toying with their desires. As Casanova closed in, I put on a final burst of speed, pulling ahead of Voi and Opal. I slowed to a trot, turning to the stallions. I could feel my heat coming on, and I looked to the stallions to decide who's mare I would be. Voi and Opal were obviously the fastest, Tabio didn't seem all that interested, and Casanova was slow but handsome. I decided I would go with either Voi or Opal, from there the descision was up to them.

"No need" he nickered as he stood tall in front of Dee, his head held high and his posture defensive for her. His eyes were narrowed at the large group of stallions, there were too many for him to fight alone. "But if they attack, a hand might be helpful" he added, pinning his ears at the group as they charged after a single mare. He snorted in annoyance, but she seemed to be enjoying it?

Thoughts wandered through the cremello mares mind as she wondered about what she should do. If she stayed she would only feel bad, seeing Inferno upset about Iris leaving, but if she left, she would have nowhere to go and end up in trouble again. She swerved her ears as she thought about it. She looked at the stallion, the poor thing was so upset. Sympathy wasn't a familiar emotion for the lithe mare.

Inferno dragged himself to sore feet. Lingering in remorse would not get Iris back. He gave so much to save her. Nosing the head of Night he shook his exposed neck,the visible muscles sore. Everything was. He still hook his chopped mane evn though it did nothing for the neat row down his neck. Snorting he headed out with a nicker of thanks to Dancer. He looed curiously at Cowgirl before brushing past her with a nicker and heading out for the mare alone. Squinting he could make out her figure, looking scared as he sa w her being poked at by a strange mare. "Iris?" He asked quietly as he approached the mare from behind her, disposition wary but concerned and gentle.

Cloud He smiled "I would be glad to help if you need it, so ill stkck around a bit longer, I know when the rest of the stallions dont get the mare the others might come right for dee" he said to edge. He knew that the young ones would be the first to come after dee if they did not win her so he kept his eye on them. He bent his head down to graze, but he did not relax, his muscles were tense and ready to attack if needed.
