Finding the Sun (Canine RP)

After everything began to cool down River went to be alone their was too much going on in the world today. She laid down and wrapped her tail around herself and began to quietly whimper. She was worried about Chee and she hoped Demon wouldn't stay mad at her. As she laid in the dying grass she tried to think about the days when the sun was in the sky and how happy everyone was with out the demons. After a while she began to wondered where Torka or Riptide where.

Ayet took a long time to think. He thought about what he knew to be demons. They were messengers from Death, controlled by him to do his bidding. What was a wolf? Someone whom the Sun blessed with the gifts of sharp teeth and quick thinking, to live a long life and produce generations of younger wolves. They never forgot their lord, the Sun, and understood that what He said was law. What was Chee? Half demon, and half wolf. Which pieces of her were demon, and which were wolf? He could not be sure. Lord Sun, I fear for my pack. This decision may destroy us. My mission is to get to you, and release you from Death's lair, so that you may once again warm our pelts and light our skies. But can I do this, and worry for all our safety? For all I know, she could be a spy for Death himself, and be planning on tearing us apart from the inside out. Sighing, the wolf sunk lower into the cool grass, hiding his muzzle, and hearing someone say in his ear, "I think Chee should stay. She may be half demon, but that doesn't mean that we forget all that we've been through together. I just want you to think clearly about your decision first." The wolf growled, and looked up sharply at the female, lips pulled back in a snarl.

"You think I am not thinking hard on this decision? I found Chee next to the dead body of a wolf! She admitted she had killed it! How do I know that all we have been through, has not simply been a lie? She could be a traitor - a spy for Death. She could..." Ayet panted, blue eyes crazed, tongue lolling out slightly. His ears went from alert, to flat and ashamed. His blue eyes clouded, and he looked away, uncertain of what had just happened. "She could kill every last one of us." The male's voice was a whisper, and he looked down at his paws, not looking back up at the black female.

[[ he was exaggerating, of course. Thatttt would be godmodding; so it's obvious he's just making it into something more than it is XD I doubt even Death could kill them all... ]]

Demon rolled on his side, staring accross the grass at Chee. "C-Chee!" he barked in alarm. I helped raised her, from a pup, perhaps it is time that i tell everyone what she really is? he thought frowning. Chee lay quivering on the grass. Her form jumping from her original wolf form back to mouse, the pain was making it hard to concentrate for her. Demon looked away, biting his lip then climbing to his paws. Trotting over to Ayet's side, where he sat down. "I-I need to inform you about Chee," he breathed heavily. Looking back at the mouse accross the other side of the field. She was staring accross at them, her fur wet and her body quivering in pain and fear. "She isn't what you all think. I knew her mother, for only a short while but she left Chee with me and my brother, who, with the help of his mate raised her. Chee mother was an experiment, to see if a wolf could carry the pup of a demon. the experiment didn't go as Death wished. Instead they got a pup that would think more like a wolf then a demon, but possed the powers of a demon. Chee feels pain and love and any other emotion a normal wolf would. She is dangerous, like any wolf when upset, but she is not influenced by Death," he informed, letting Ayet know as much as he needed to know. Then standing up he turned and began to trot away. stopping he lowered his head and snarled. "and i suggest that Chee gets some medical help. Like the rest of you she can die from her injuries!" he growled harshly. then continued on his way. Padding past Chee who was still quivering and shivering in pain while staring at Ayet, wanting him to reach out and help her.

Torka jolted awake and groaned at how he had missed the wolves nearing Ayet. He slinked down into the dying grass and stood bravely infront of Demon. "Well, that was your fault, wasn't it? You raised the female and you still didn't recognize her when you opened your stupid mouth." He huffed, lips slightly curled to show that he wasn't happy. At all.

Demon yanked his lip back and he towered over the young wolf. "Just because you are now an apprentice dose not mean you have to right! nor the strength to challenge a wolf like me!" Demon growled, his deadly fangs that had killed so many glaring in the light at the young wolf.

"No, it doesn't." Torka agree'd. pulling back his lips in a snarl while fluffing his neck-fur and tail-fur. "But i'll do it anyway." He snapped at Demons chin, growling lowly at the older wolf.

"you just made the biggest mistake in your short life!" Demon roared, leaping forward and slamming his right paws at the young wolf's face. His jaws slapping shut as he snapped at Torka's scruff.

Torka snarled, defying the older wolf. He reared onto his hindlegs, Demons paws slamming into his chest. Obviously, the biggest mistake of his life would be standing on his hindlegs. He toppled backward onto the dirt, reaching up with his paws, snapping at Demons muzzle. 'Abort the plan, abort the plan!' He howled mentally, his ears back the shine of fear in his eyes. He had to get Demons mouth shut if he was ever going to get out woundless.

Demon laughed and his eyes shone with blood lust. swerved to the young wolf's side so his belly wouldn't be revealed and then lept at the young wolf's throat. his jaws snapping for a sure hit.
"NOOO!" a roar broke through the snarls and growls of Demon and Torka and a small lioness pounced, knocking into Demon's side, sending the large wolf rolling away. Chee landed hard, her front legs almost buckling under her in pain. Large lion fangs where pulled back as she stood over Torka. "Demon stop!" she panted, squinting in pain as she fell on her side in her normal dog form. Her shoulders burning in pain, bloodloss obvious. Demon stared with wide eyes at Chee as she collapsed. Snarling and panting he didn't move.

Torka pulled back his ears and shut his eyes as Demon lunged, doing a thing that all soon-to-be-dead animals did, letting out a piercing cry. He opened his eyes once Demon hit the floor, looking up at Chee. 'Wha- LION! Oh, right thats Chee...' He thought, rolling onto his side. He crawled forward, sniffing Chee. "Thanks." He whispered as he nudged her head. "This is still your fault, Demon." He looked back at the older wolf with a more fearful gaze, though he was frowning. If Demon lunged again, all he could do would be to roll onto his back and expose everything, hide behind submission. It would embarress him fully, but if it saved him a few bites he would do it.
