Tod: "babe you didn't know me then...I'm not the person you think I am"

Allison:

She touched one of his snake bites tentatively and said, "Really? What's your deep, dark truth then?"

Tod: he looked over at her "I'm the reason there dead..."

Allison:

She froze and looked at him. "What happened?"

Tod: "I was a stupid punk kid...I got into some bad things and some deals went bad...it was supposed to be me that night but they found a better punishment." he said his eyes fixed down at his hands

Allison:

"Babe, what did you do?" She asked, still looking at him.

Tod: "I was just into some bad things okay...and I was broke and that didn't go over well when it was time to pay...do they broke into our house in the middle of the night tied me up and made me watch as they killed my family...it's my fault and it should have been me" he said before rolling onto his side facing the wall

Allison:

She felt sick. And horrible. No wonder Tod shut everybody out. She probably would too. She put a hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort him, but not knowing what to say.

Tod: he shrugged off her hand and closed his eyes tightly. He should have even told her. She had every detail she needed to destroy his life now if she wanted to. He just wanted it all to go away. He was sickened by himself and hated himself as well. Not a day goes by when he isn't sick to his stomach because of what he caused

Allison:

She laid there, not knowing what to do or say. She felt horrible just knowing what happened. She couldn't begin to imagine how Tod felt. Sure, she caused her brother and mother's death. But Tod's story was totally different. Awful. Tragic. "What... What can I do?" She asked
