Felix had his sharp green eyes laid steadily on the Turian in front of him who held the pistol, daring him to shoot with a smile playing across his face. His mandibles fluttered slightly as he waited for that familiar sound, yet it never came. Instead he turned his head slightly behind him to the dull sound of clapping emitted from that strange alien he had never seen before. She...or at least he presumed it was a she...he could not be a hundred percent sure on that one since he could not identify this race to begin with, either way the new alien was certainly putting her input on the situation. Her insults to both him and the others were common really, he had been called way much worse than just simple 'robo-freak' and the odd identification of him made him smile a bit at how it was ironically true. However, he was no full blown synthetic but he was not about to tell those guys that since they seemed to believe it to be true judging by their expressions. Felix rolled his eyes as the two patrons simply let loose a barrage of insults at the alien. Really? They must of been drunk or something cause they just did not know when to quit it seemed.
It was unexpected though when she released a biotic pull that lifted the Turian clean into the air. He had never seen any biotic perform something like that and wondered if this was some hybrid race or something? Either way, the pull eventually ended as the Turians were now in a disheveled heap among themselves. Was it really worth all this just to call him out? Next time he would just avoid the bar all together if he even saw one Turian, another thing to add to his list of 'Don't do' during his daily activities. He did not need the help though but a part of him felt like this alien simply got involved purely for the fun of it. Too bad, he would have actually enjoyed a good fight if they took the first shot. The whole bar was just simply watching in amusement which made Felix roll his eyes. These ingrates would have never stopped the fight even if it did escalate into shooting, figures...
Felix said nothing as the two Turians gathered themselves and limped from the bar with hate in their eyes. For some reason he always loved that look. Made him feel accomplished and all tingly inside, or perhaps that was just the drinks, he never really could tell one from the other. He brushed off his coat and pulled his hood ever closer around his face with his one good arm while the other simply hung their like dead weight. He sighed to himself, now he would have to go repair the d*mn thing and that would take hours! he really did needed an upgrade but there was little material or credits to get a proper synthetic arms on Omega. Eyeing the bar and the damaged they had caused, he could already hear the heavy footsteps of Krogan making their way from the upper bar to check on what all the noise was down here. He was certainly not going to be caught and forced to pay for damages that was for sure. Looking off to the new alien who had already seated herself down for another drink, he gave her a small wave of his one good hand before speaking, "Well that was fun wasn't it? But not going to stay around for the after party, I would suggest you get out as well before they catch you." A light smile lit his dark features before he turned quickly for the back doors. Felix was not up for going against a Krogan, especially with just one good arm.
He wasted little time in waiting around before he made for his agile escape that lead to the back allies of Afterlife. The familiar shadows enveloped him as he welcomed their cool touch and his hot skin. Hopefully the odd looking alien would get out of there if she knew what was good for her. They were notorious for making you pay for anything that you broke when a brawl breaks out, but in all honesty her well being should be of little concern to him. Maybe when he was of a younger age he would have taken the time to actually help her out but right now he only cared about himself. "Alright, now that that's over with I need to get on home." He looked down at his right arm and pulled back the sleeve to check the damage, looked like he just short circuited it was all. Should not be too difficult to get it back to normal. He could hear the Krogans bellowing behind him and did not wait long to pull himself to one of the living quarter's rooftops. At least he could say he knew his way around Omega like the back of his hand now, another human expression he loved to use. He took one last moment to look behind him to make sure no Krogans had followed before casually strolling across the buildings and jumping down to one of the busy streets below.
He kept his head low and blended in with the crowds. Individuals who could care less about who you were as long as you stayed out of their way littered the streets. He obliged them, slipping through and past the many different forms and races before the streets finally began to narrow and come to a more solemn run down building that appeared to be empty. It was not luxurious at all, but this was his home and the one place he felt safe and relaxed among this den of thieves. He took a moment to glance over his shoulder once more, a common practice to make sure he was not followed before forgoing the door that never opened and climbing to the second window to slip inside. Granted, his entrance was a little rusty due to the one arm, but he managed alright. Finally he was comfortable and pulled back his hood to reveal his bare-face. A broken mirror upon the rusted wall revealed his image that he had eventually grown used to. When they first removed the markings he had hated the way he looked, to constantly be reminded of what transpired and the injustice that was placed upon his clan. But know he rather liked the image, broken and scarred, it suited him and he no longer despised himself but accepted it. "Ugh, long day Felix old boy. Next you will be fighting Krogans single handed...actually lets try to avoid that one okay?" He spoke to himself as he prepared a glass of water and pulled out a box filled with an assortment of stolen parts. Hey, he never admitted he was not a thief himself after all.
Felix brought his synthetic arm to be placed on a worn counter before pulling back the thick clothing to get to the appendage. The arm was completely gone all the way up to the shoulder, a vivid reminder of what had transpired back at that Cerberus base. It made a shiver run down his spine when he looked at it but he brought out the soldering tools nevertheless to work on the metal that formed his right arm and talons. His thoughts went back to the strange alien back at the bar as he began the busy work on his shoulder. Small sparks emanated as he tried to reconnect the wires and work out the burnt fuse. That creature was not something he had ever seen before, but he did not necessarily get that good of a look at her under the dim light of the bar. Either he had missed the memo on a new race being found or it was some alien who had been genetically altered. It was the best explanation he could come up with as he suddenly clenched his mandibles at the searing pain in his right arm. He was obviously doing something right as the synthetics reconnected with his nervous system, but d*mn did it hurt every time he did that! His old curiosity was getting the best of him he supposed. He was on Omega now and should not become too interested in new things such as that odd alien. Go putting your nose in something like that and it often got you killed, as the humans would say at least. He was still working up on his terminology for that species but so far found their phrases rather amusing and appropriate for most situations.
"At least I'm back home now, another day and your still alive is a win for me." He mumbled to himself as his teeth clenched when he finally got his talons twitching again. Hopefully the new alien had gotten herself out of the bar without too much trouble, he supposed with biotics like that there was little she could not get out of anyway. But a part of him felt regret for not returning the favor and staying to help. Well at least he had warned and showed her the back door right? That was more help than most would give in a place like this. This time a small gasp escaped him as a violent shock went up his spinal cord and set his brain on fire. That meant his arm was back up and running again but he nearly doubled over from the intense pain. The metal clawed at the counter instinctively to catch himself and he nearly let loose a string of curses for the unsuspecting pain. Bringing his arm over to face and letting it flex and grasp at the empty air, he was glad it was reconnected to his nerves once more, all be it was none too gentle when it did connect. "Gah! There we go...good as new I suppose." He examined it with inquisitive eyes before getting up and pulling his coat back over his chest while reaching for the glass of water he had made. At least now he could relax in peace without no weird aliens or aggravating Turians to get in his way. But tomorrow would be another day, best to simply enjoy the peace while it lasted.
{lol, yeah I can certainly tell she is all renegade. XD
At least Felix has some Paragade in him so there is a little good? Or maybe just being amused, I don't know. ^^}
