Why did I tell my grandma to pick me up tomorrow if they're having Christmas on Christmas day? That means I get to stay the night with her, and then put up with my family the next morning. I am not a morning person and I'll probably end up yelling and getting yelled at because I'm being smothered with love and "OMG I haven't seen you in forever/omg you've grown/omg did you dye your hair?/Omg have you gotten skinnier?"
My nerves cannot handle it; but it happens every year. They wonder why I don't like to come see them.
Don't get me wrong, I do love my family, but it would be nice if they would stop treating me like I just came from the womb.
C'mon guys, I'm a little to old to be treated like this. Treat me like I'm an adult, please?

My aunt and uncle sent us a card; they always include a photo of my older cousin.
