Nightingale looked after her, "I'll be back" she told Inferno. Rushing after Iris "I..Iris..wait" she said softly. She loatehd beign yelled at, it made her feel worthless and small. Like a twig. A twigh can be snapped, and broke in an insta. The shire was able to keep up at a nice pace, she felt awful. This..this was all her fault. Everything was her fault.

She looked at Inferno with curiosity and sympathy. She trotted out of the cave and followed the blue roan mare, her light figure helping her move through the thick ice. "Please listen to me" she pleaded. "I'm not trying to force you into anything, but you must try to remember" she said gently. "Inferno would never harm you, he cared for you very much" she insisted. "Take it from me, I know what bad stallions are like and in comparison to them, Inferno is angelic" she nickered soothingly.

The looked at him gently and nuzzled him with affection. "Well, yes. I might have stayed asleep for a while longer, but I was having a bad dream" she shrugged lightly and swished her tail, realizing that she was spreading her heat scent. "Oh, sorry" she said sheepishly, looking at the ground with embarrassment.

"I know...I just hate it." Dee snorted and moved toward Edge to nose his neck. Loking around, she wondered what they should do now. The light mare hoped for something but heck she had no idea what. Her eyes switchsd between them. She figured she would have to pish aside the aggressive possessive likness and take in the good qualities in them and sum it up in her head.


Inferno half fell back to the cave floor. Maybe he was the same as th e others. Maybe that stallion was right when he said Inferno was not strong enough. The stallion lied his head down, all his energy drained. He made a quiet sound of a snort and flattened his ears. She left. There was no way she would come back. She would never remember being saved that day. If he tried it again...but he wouldn't. She said not to look. Whole chest hurting the male lowered his eyes to the floor. He failed. It was possibly one of the best mares he had known and she ran away hating him. For nothing. He let his precious mare and Dancer go. He felt like dirt.That hatred and spite in her eyes...

Iris pinned her ears and bucked out at Dancer and Night. "I don't want your opinion on him! He is just another stupid stallion! So shut up and leave me alone!" She snarled and shot forwards like a rocket whizzing past Dancer and Night kicking up snow behind her. She ran through the deep snow with her ears pinned full of hatred and anger. Thinking I'm really going to go back to that stallion who took advantage of me being unconscious. Like that would ever happen.

Nightingale sqeaked as she was snapped at. Yep..there goes the tears. "I'm such a foal" she sniffied. Turning back she trotted back to Inferno, she wiped her eyes on her flank. "It'll be okay darling" she said half to herself. Laying down next to him, she laid her head on his back.

It took everything in her power not to bolt after the mare. She gritted her teeth and dug her hooves into the snow to hold herself back. She knew the mare wouldn't listen, she knew it would only make things worse. She looked back and saw Inferno, in his cave and looking absolutely dreadful. How could she face him now? Knowing that it was partially her fault. She looked at the stallion, thousands of apologies blooming in her blue eyes and hung her head shamefully again. Why couldn't she just curl up and die? It would make every other horses life a million times easier.

Pixar shook out his long dark grey mane. "Nightmares aren't real Hope. They are just a figment of our imagination." He reassured her smiling softly. "I don't mind. Self-control is in my blood. I can keep myself contained." He said calmly and stood up shaking out his whole body before walking to the entrance of the cave, watching the storm continue on.

Her hooves pounded the snow as she ran, squishing it below her hooves. Iris ran from the mares and Inferno her ears pinned laying flat against her head. She bared her teeth at the falling snow. She managed to dodge snowflakes until her hooves gave out under her and she slipped, crumpling down to her knees. Exhausted, she stayed there in the cold snow. Iris changed her mind and she stood back up, darting through the trees. She squealed suddenly as her head rammed into a tree. Her head throbbed and she stumbled sideways, falling onto her side into the snow.
