What Are Spotted Night Newts You Ask?

Spotted Night Newts are the largest species of newts in the world. There are two reasons why they are called Spotted Night Newts. One, is because they are nocternal! I don't know how to spell that! So we can just leave it at that! And the second more.. bigger reason I guess you can say, is that they have poison in their ear fluff. That is the only fluffy, furry stuff on their body, and ya it sucks because you can't tough it, otherwise you'll die in like... 20 minutes, unless you get rushed to the hospital and get a shot for it. The way to NOT get poisend by them, is to give them what they want and not make them angry, upset, and mad, so I guess you can say they are spoiled. Always try to keep them happy. That means taking good care of them and not neglecting them. Otherwise you'll come home to your house, thinking everything is ok, and then you touch your jacket (wich just so happened to be the spot where your cute little SNN rubbed his poisenouse 'ear wax' all over it). Next thing you know... you'll be in the hospital... but don't be discouraged. This is very rare, they are hard to upset, but don't think that still gets you off the hook! The second charateristic these little mosters have, are that every single one is spotted. It is EXTREMELY rare for on to NOT have at least one spot on them. There will probably be only one of these guys for adoption. They are born in eggs, (They will most likely be up foradoption in a couple of days ^u^) with more spots then when tey are born, but have the same colored color and spots. Even a no very rare spot baby, will haveat least a dot on their egg. It is still rare, however not as rare, to see an older SNN with no o very few spots, as they lose their spots as they get older. So its like vice versa if it as a Dalmation dog! For short, yo can call them Night Newts, so the Night Newts diet, consisits of flis, bugs, smaller, minno like fish, and yes.. smaller salamanders and newts :c They are able to breath under water for a short time, however they only go into the water to hunt.

This grey-tone male is an uncommon Spotted Night Newt. He has 29-30 visible spots, but about 47-50 in total.
He's a bit of a freckle face too! >//w//<

"Ruff, come on! We're burning daylight here!" the impatient Newt called for the billionth time. and, once again, he felt the slap of a thick striped tail to his face. "Aami, I swear, say it again and I will NEVER take you to see the lights." Aami growled softly, a strange whining rumble, to which the larger creature responded with a loud snarl. She was Aami's best friend, a kind creature- so long as you didn't annoy her. Aami obviously had. He rolled his eyes when she turned back to what she was doing- whatever that was.
"What are you even doing??" he demanded of the catlike animal. She didn't respond. "Ruff?" Silence. "Ruffian! MHAIRIAE!!" he finally cried. Ruff's wings flared in irritation.
"I'm putting together some foods and herbs should we get stuck or hurt somewhere!!" she hissed, her tail lashing. She pushed a couple small leaves into one of her two hide pouches, then tossed it haphazardly to Aami. "Fine. Let's go." Her ears were layed back and her bright green eyes were narrowed in annoyance.
Still, when the massive, dark, ragged-pelted dog with the scaly white face and hideous sneer leapt from the shadows and aimed powerful jaws at Aami's throat, Ruffian didn't hesitate to blindside it and cover Aami's body with her own, soon leaving the beast to flee, his pelt laced with gashes and a massive tear across an eye that would never see the light of day again.
Aami trembled, his golden eyes wide. "Y-you saved me..." he whispered.
Ruff drew him close to her. "That's what friends are for, Aami."

Char is a very mysterious newt, at night, his personality is dark,deep,mischeivious,naughty and unsettling but in the day time he is kindhearted,friendly,loving,looks out for friends,fun and sharing. Nobody knows why this occurs but it is safe to say that he has a split personality.

He was the first one to catch my eye when I clicked on the adoptables. I love newts and he would be perfect for my first one. I love his eyes, they remind me of a midsummer sunset and his skin reminds me of the coldest winters night...no wonder about the split personality thing C:
