Daemons tend to be a bit less restrained because ohmahgosh they can get away with anything inside a headspace where no other's can judge XDDD. There is no society to frown upon their behavior and they do not live by rules in your head. On that bases, I'm not sure how naughty mine would actually be IRL. He can be (or I make him) preeeetty pervy at times and he'd likely get arrested for things I make him do when I'm bored. So IRL, he obviously wouldn't. He's fairly similar to me, except a bit less friendly and a tad more negative/grumpy.
Also, as a side note, your daemon's personality (and maybe your daemon itself) really has nothing to do with finding your form. It's all about you. I don't think that your daemon's personality is a indicator of yours, since you basically make it up until it is comfortable for you. And whatever might be comfortable may not be anything like you at all (like a meek human creating a protective daemon).
I eat wolf-a-boos for breakfest. >:c

I said once in the otherkin thread when asking if you were a member of any otherkin related sites "
IF daemians are considered otherkin, then I'm a member of TDF" and everyone skipped the "IF" part, assumed I said they were otherkin, and went straight to the "post that they're not 6 times because Wendigo won't get it the first 5 times" part.
They're not really otherkin. I suppose if you really really REALLY wanted to you could make the argument, but that would be a flimsy one at best.

Thank you Wendigo.
I tried to tell my friend that I don't think think I'm non-human/otherkin but they went on how they don't think they're non-human either and how there two animals that represent them are just there personality and stuff but they still think they're otherkin. o-o

I've always thought of otherkin as having more literal traits of an animal instead of the metaphorical traits we use in daemonism, i.e. a polar bear therian might like the cold, whereas a polar bear daemian might have a cold, distant personality. I have seen some otherkin interpret things metaphorically, but I never really understood that, since you're supposed to be that animal, not identify with symbolism present in that animal, right? XD

No. A daemon's form is based off your true personality and that only. ^^ Imagine if daemons' forms really were based off who you want to be; there'd be uberwolves all around.
EDIT: If you're having so much doubt about yourself, why not just be unsettled? C:

I agree completely with Da Lynx. You can take an analysis and find out which animal best suits your personality.
Speaking of that, does anyone know where I can get an analysis on a wolf or a badger?
Things I Love:
Doctor Who - Sherlock - Firefly - Harry Potter

Personality of your daemon =/= your personality. The FORM depends on your personality. Cyrus is bold, out there, doesn't really give a damn if he burns any bridges, and snarky. I'm more underhanded.

The Daemon Forum? Wolves and badgers are two worlds apart in personality.
