Nightingale drew her attention away from the stallion, just when her heart beat slowed it was brought up tremindously upon the sight of Iris. "Oh..no ..no no no no.." she said trotting her, the shire was still frost bit. But she could feel alittle bit..just alittle. "Iris?" she nickered at the mare, nudging her softly with her muzzle.

Sorrow Of An Iris
The blue roan mare was still. Her sides didn't rise or fall. She was ice cold to the touch and her eyes where shut. She seemed to be dead, but she wasn't. They might have thought that she was dead, but she wasn't. She was close to dying. When Inferno left her side, she instantly began to freeze again. When he returned, she was still freezing and her body wouldn't take in the heat. She was suffering, but she wasn't showing it at all. She wasn't going to act weak. She never acted weak.

A bay mare and a small filly walked alongside each other quietly. The mares gaze was alert, and her ears pricked up and she nuzzled her small adopted filly calmly. Sailor stopped and watched herds roam not far away from her. She snorted and turned one ear backwards to the area behind her. She flicked her gaze to her filly who nursed quietly. She shifted her weight from hoof to hoof uneasily about her surroundings. She snorted and pawed at the ground, swiveling her ears in every direction. Jinx nursed quietly, watching her Mother's every move. She turned to her gaze to the herds that roamed. She walked under her Mother and shoved her head between her front legs, watching the herds quietly. She whinnied softly and lied down beneath her Mother quietly folding her buckskin legs under her. Sailor shifted her gaze from her filly who was slowly falling asleep to the herds continuously. She snorted and shook out her mane. Sailor and Jinx needed protection. They had been uneasy the past few days, and wouldn't warm up to anybody that easily, but the safety was needed. She raised her bay head and whinnied softly, hoping for a reply from anybody. Even a mare would work.

"Iris..don't do this" the shire urged, rubbing her head against her neck. Hopeing her thick coat would warm her. "You're strong..you can..get through it" she said her ears flicking. Where was Inferno? The shire looked around nosing the mare softly. "Don't give in Iris.." she continued pressing her body close to hers, hoping her body heat would help her.

Inferno let out a pathetic sounding whinny as he saw Iris. Nosing Nightingale in thanks and moving to the roan he nudged her. "Iris?" Knees buckling he half fell next to her, still a bit warmer since he had been moving around more. Nosing her again he nickered. "Iris..." His voice was evident of his weakened shape.

Feather can be quite timid when you first meet her but she is one who warms up to someone very fast and becomes a regular loving mare who would do anything for those she cares for deeply. She can be quite shy towards stallions but she won't run away if you approach to say hello, she will often stick around and test out your personality to see if she finds you safe to be around. Don't be fooled by this gentle girl though, she can be strong willed and slightly foolish. She can be protective over her family and anyone who she sees as innocent enough to be fought for.

Born into a very small family that was not even really a herd, Feather had to grow up with hardly any other horses around so she had to invent her own ways to keep herself occupied. She would hide in the snow and sneak up on her parents, but they were always too busy for games. She left her family when she was two as she felt that she was not getting enough life experience by sticking around there all day. Though sad to see her go, her parents wished her luck and set her off on her journey to discover who she wanted to be
