Asher looked through the trees, trying to find the next town or at the very least, trying not to get lost...

Ceryni went and marked a tree.

Asher watched him and continued walking. Maybe this boy was smarter than she gave him credit for... She spotted one of the rocks that marked the "path" to the next town and smiled confidently.

"Have you ever been this way before boy?" Asher asked in a hushed tone.

Ceryni glared at Asher. "First, no I haven't. Second, don't call me boy again..."

"I try my best." Muttered Sean as he smoothed his hair back down to its spikes, which fell just above his shoulders in auburn locks, like Eliza's. "Nice to meet you too." Said Sean.

Eliza pointed towards Sean and said happily, "Da!!" She wriggled in her mother's arms. Kaiiyen, finally getting the message, set her down and the toddler ran over to Sean, who immediately picked her up and snuggled her.
