She nodded happily to the stallion and cast a final glance at Lucky "Good luck with getting yourself some mares" she nickered with a flick of her tail. She realized that she was spreading some heat scent and figured it must be very close to spring. She looked sheepishly at Broken "Sorry" she murmured, looking down at the ground. Harmony hated her heat scent and hated even more what it did to the stallions. It seemed to drive them crazy.

Broken blinked nosing her cheek gently "It's alright..living 2 years with many mares and sisters..you get used to it..somewhat" he added. Looking bavk at Lucky, making sure he wasn't following. "Here..get infront of me..that way I know that if someone trys to take you from behind..I got htem" he smiled, then spotted another mare (Angel).

The golden mare sighed gently and trotted in front of the handsome stallion, she kept her long creamy tail clamped down to her rump, not wanting to cause any trouble. She looked up at the mare that had caught Broken's attention. She smiled at the mare in a polite manner and swerved her ears, wondering if the mare was aggressive or maybe she was shy.

Angel lifted her head, her twin ears swivelling forwards like honing devices as she heard the sound of other horses. Letting out a high pitched whinny of joy, she trotted towards them, her knees snapping up in the typical Friesian high gait. Her long wavey black tail trailled behind her like a banner. She slowed as she reached the two horses, dipping her head respectively in a manner of greeting. Her muscles quivered slightly in anticipation. It had been a while since she had seen others of her kind.

The haflinger mare looked up at the taller horse. She must have been at least a hand taller. "Hello, I'm Harmonious Whispers" she nickered to the black mare, dipping her head in respect and greeting. "Most know me as Harmony" she added. "This is Broken Timewatch, or Broken as I call him" she flicked her tail at the stallion.

Locks of thick black forelock fell over Angel's blue eye, obscuring it from view. She arched her neck slightly, revealing the musculature crest complete with her solid draft build.
"I am Angel," she said softly, in response to the introductions. "It's a huge pleasure to meet you."
She switched her tail, and bobbed her head slightly, her entire demeanour warm and open.

In Heat | No Herd

I heard the telltale snap of twigs coming from a copse of trees to my left, and I spotted three horses. Two mares and a stallion, one seemed to be a newcomer. I sent a smile towards the group, but I was looking for something a little more... rough. I caught sight of a handsome stallion (Lucky) and approached him, careful to keep my tail low. There was no need for stallions to get a riled up, as they usually did whenever I was in heat. I dipped my head and smiled, hoping to maybe join his herd.

"I'm Nyx." I said, tossing my pretty black mane.

Broken stood proudly near Harmony "It's nice to meet you" he said. Angel didn't smell of..a stallion. OR a herd. Was she a loner? or just straying to far from her herd?. The tall bay thoroughbred craned his neck over Angel's shoulder, searching for any sign of a herd. He was a bit thankful and sorrowed when he saw there wasn't one. He didn't feel like fighitng, but mares should be somewhere protected.

Angel stood puzzled by what the stallion in front of her was doing. She was unused to the ways of more wild horses, and assumed it was some sort of ritual. Her head lowered in submission, as she thought should be right meeting a stallion. She had never been in close company with a stallion before. The humans made sure to keep her apart from stallions so she wouldn't have babies that would upset her showing career.
"Are you two wild?" she asked, curiously.

Broken nodded, noticing she had more of a human scent. Harmony knew humans, fairly well..Broken always wanted to meet them. "I am..Harmony is..somewhat" he said giving his mare a soft nuzzle "I take it you're not?" he asked a bit puzzled by her question. The bay shook out his dark mane, shaking hte snow off of it.
