Wow I haven't posted here in forever >.>

Anyways, is it just me or do you find that on some sights there are different standards of role-play etiquette. I mean like on cs I would say that for the most part there is not a ton of power playing or god modding. However on some other role playing forms, I have found a lot more of those activities.

I love torturing my characters! I give them occasional breaks so they don't totally abandon ship, but I like messing with their lives. Dance, puppets, dance!

Kestral&Leo wrote:Anyone, anyone at all up for a mix of completely wacky characters? I was thinking a small group, with a few set personalities. Like someone a true pyromaniac, someone who can never resist touching fluffy things, someone who always has to splash in water, or oil or something?

OMG! I have a perfect character for that! She's literally compelled to steal anything shiny, no matter how worthless it is. She will pick your pocket for the shiny gum wrapper in your wallet.

You don't realize how many roleplays your in until you list them all out x__x

hmm...I don't know whether to call this a problem or not, but I seem to be having some trouble.
I think I have a tendency to reply to things too quickly. Yes, I do have a busy life, and yes, I don't spend all of my time in my room, but roleplaying is something I do when I'm feeling stressed or just need a break and therefore I make plenty time for it. On the other hand, I'm also an extremely fast typer (or so I've been told), so replying to roleplays is usually a breeze. Long story short, sometimes I just feel embarrassed when I'm able to put up a post within the hour when it should take me much longer, as if I have nothing better to do... x3

      >> I don't know if I sound weird, but I just thought I'd ask for your guy's opinions on this. Maybe I'm just paranoid. xD

@ Cider Chi - I always feel really weird when I'm posting replies really quickly, and then I'm there waiting for people but I realize everyone's probably like 'hmm what should I write'. Or maybe I'm just impatient xD I think it shows that you have lots of ideas, or else you wouldn't be able to post as quickly. It's not really that weird ^-^

      @abandoned. Good. I'm glad xD

@Pocky<3 I really don't want to admit it, but I can be extremely impatient once I find myself bored. When I love a roleplay and the characters in it it's the only thing on my mind, just like a good book. I have to constantly remind myself that just because I'm free doesn't me the other roleplayer isn't juggling other things. Gosh I feel like a nerd. xD

Form:
Username: Taintedkitten
Favorite type of RP: Human or animal, prefer regular to supernatural, though am drawn to adult vampire RPs
Roleplay sample:

Llewellyn was an intimidating figure. With his tall stature, dominant posture and clean-cut suit and tie, he wasn't a lawyer for nothing. He was the type who could send most sane grown men cowering in the corner. Generally his entire demeanour was cold, it made everyone jump to what he said when he said. That's generally the reason why new graduates weren't assigned to him, rather to one of the other lawyers in his firm, someone who was a bit warmer and not as likely to make a newbie cry on their first day. Well, he guessed she'd have to learn quickly if she were to be assigned to him. He didn't tolerate anything which might affect the work they did. He didn't suffer fools.

It was the same personality which made the receptionist do as she was told, despite the fact it certainly wasn't in her job description. The receptionist he knew, even if he hadn't of been a cutting authority, would've done what he asked by the simple fact he could pick up on her body language and knew exactly what she thought of him. As Riley spoke, his brow furrowed further. He was used to yes sir, anything you say sir. Not a threat against him that she wouldn't have turned up. He didn't care either way if she did or she didn't. There were many others keen to take her place.

She'd better be worth it, he could hear himself thinking. When she asked what the case was, he turned on his heel, expecting her to follow. A test, to see if she was willing to leave her daughter in the hands of someone she didn't know, even though that someone worked for the F.B.I and would have had full security clearance done.
"Homicide." He stated simply. "Lucas Grant the politician. Our client and the suspect is his wife, Lucille Grant."
He glanced at her, still assessing her. They hadn't gotten off to a good start.
"What do you know about them?" It was something of a test.
