Erm... a bit of a bad situation...

I have to admit right from the start that I am 11, and in fifth grade. (the school year's almost over, so I'm going into 6th) I have found myself paying a lot more attention to *coughcouchguyscoughcough* this year and um... yes, I do have a big crush on a sixth grader in my class, Devon. I currently live in Oregon, and my mom is making us move to Pennsylvania in a month or two. What am I going to do? Because even though I'm kind of young, I know I will miss him horribly. Please please help me...?

It will pass and there will be other guys where you're moving. I would suggest not getting too involved with guys until you're a bit older, noticing and crushing on them is perfectly fine and normal. Long distance relationships are not easy, and at your age I don't think it would be a good idea to have one.

Thanks! And yeah, obviously, it's not like I could have a long distance "relationship" now anyway, seeing as I'm only in 5th grade. And I know he doesn't like me back, so it was kinda failed from the start XD

I guess I just have to get over him, though it's not very easy...

Pandora, if you want to give advice then you need to be able to accept criticism in return, no matter what form it's given in. It doesn't matter if the person is rude or polite, you must be able to behave professionally. I'm sorry, but I needed to point this out.

Yeah, no. People need to respect what advice is given, and if they don't they deserve what's comin' for them. She disrespected me so I disrespected her. The golden rule of girlscouts, treat others how you want to be treated and that was how she wanted to be treated so that's what she got.
