I don't see anything wrong with hunting for population reasons but how do you know if you buy a pelt that it is from pest control? Do they say?
Don't agree with
Poaching
Trapping
Slow deaths
Hunting in general but if it's fair to the animals I suppose it's okay.
Trophy hunting/ wasting body
Selling only the pelt for the money
Arial hunting (In helicopters) The wolf has to run)
I don't mind
Quick deaths
Hunting for food
Killing for self defense
Taxidermy as long as the animal has been killed fairly
Just responding to the bolded things in your list - trapping is actually fairly humane. The limb that's caught in the trap usually goes numb fairly quickly, and animals rarely chew it off, only a few species do (wolverines and some other animals I can't remember...). I'm not saying it never happens, but it's much rarer than people make it out to be. Trappers also have to check their traps quite frequently due to regulations, and in the case of smaller mammals they sometimes even die instantly, or near instantly.
As for wasting the body. It is actually illegal, at least in the US, to leave the body of an animal, and just take say... the head or horns. By law, you must take the body with you and try and use everything in some way. Sell the pelt or use it, eat the meat, feed it to your pets or sell it... the bones can also be given to dogs or sold.
It's just that some people make hunters out to be disgusting, evil, wasteful creatures yet that simply isn't the case. Poachers? Maybe. Hunters? Nope. Because as soon as they do something illegal like wasting the whole body of an animal or shooting out of season they are no longer hunters in my book, but poachers.
And about selling pelts for money. What's wrong with that? If it's sold it'll be going to someone who can better use it, while providing the hunter/trapper with money to provide for his family.

there really is no such thing as 'trophy hunting' by most standards. if your definition of a 'trophy hunter' is someone who only uses the head/horns or other minimal parts of the animal, and usually only cares about shooting the biggest animal, tbh those kinds of people are actually pretty rare, and even considered poachers by a lot of responsible hunters' standards. hunting is hunting, whether the person wants to mount their kill or not - keep a 'trophy', if you will - or just wants to use the meat or even sell the pelt for profit. almost all hunters keep mementos from their hunts, and i don't really have any problem admitting that i am one of those hunters [i prefer to keep the pelts of every animal i kill] - there's nothing wrong with keeping something to remind you about the hunt, or even just to have so that you can appreciate the animal's beauty, even after death.
in my opinion, there is really no such thing as a 'trophy hunter'.
