"What about you, how'd you end up here?" Lupe asked after she gave her answer some thought.

Zahra sighed. "We ran from our old pack after a power-thirsty wolf took over. We roamed for many weeks and found this pack, it was nice to see friendly wolves again. We settled here and tried to stay low-key so that wolf would look for an alpha female he knew was related to the old leader, which was his goal."

"Do you think it was the same wolf?" Lupe asked the question unintentionaly.

[Fauna]

Zahra shrugged. "It could have been but it probably wasn't, he would gone after me or Zanu, not Zofara." Zahra paused for a second. "Unless he wants to take over this pack also, no that's way too far-fetched."

Zanu looked at Zofara sadly. "My parents died from a massacre. A wolf named Bone decided he wanted to rule like dictator and he killed my father. My mother tried to kill bone so we would be safe..... but she died too. Zahra saved me and we ran. We finally found this pack since the other wolves had been captured or went to hide. I never forgot that day."

"How could any wolf forget that, that'd be terrifying," Zofara said sadly. "That wolf isn't connected with the moon spirit is he?," Zofara asked.

"Mmmm, maybe it's not. If he's as power thirsty as he sounds, he very well could want to take over this pack. Plus it only makes sense to attack Zofara since she smells like Kira and Matrix more than the rest of us." Lupe said in a matter-of-factly voice.

[Fauna]

Zanu looked confused. "The moon spirit, I never heard of that, or it?" Zanu tilted his head confused. "All I know is he was to obsessed with power to care about others. He never mentioned a moon spirit when he was still trusted." Zanu looked back at Zahra wondering he had indeed come back.
Zahra nodded to Lupe " I hope he didn't, for the sake of this pack." Zahra winced at the thought of him coming back. "It would be better if we never saw him again."

"Most wolves are in touch with the moon-spirit, the spirit of the moon is supposed to live inside the hearts of all wolves, it gives them their strenghs such as their senses.

"Maybe none of us should go off by ourselves for a while, especially the pups. I think maybe we should talk to Kira about this?" Lupe asked questioningly asking for Zahra's opinion.
