Story:
Kuroi and Tide walked around together, the sky was grey and blanketed with low-lying clouds. Kuroi sneezed as a snowflake landed on her nose.
"Not funny." She muttered glaring at Tide who was giggling profusely. Kuroi shook her black mane; the snow was dancing down lightly, it was starting to collect on the cold hard ground.
"Are we almost there yet?" Tide asked, whining like a baby. "It's freezing out and I don't know how much more I can take." He huffed almost ignorant like, after he said that he began to shiver.
"Oh shut it Tide, you know how far it is to our destination." Kuroi snorted indignantly as she lashed her tail. As they walked on the snow grew heavier and soon enough a thick layer of white fluff laid across the barren land. The two simbgwenyas were walking when Tide let out a yelp.
"Knock it off Tide you're not funny." Kuroi growled and kept walking, not even looking back. After a few seconds of silence she turned and gasped, "Tide? Tide! Where'd you go?!" she called trying to hide the worry in her voice. She heard a muffled call and bounded towards it, Kuroi burst out laughing at the sight of Tide stuck in the bottom of a hole and covered in snow. "Well Tide if you wanted to take a break you could have just said so!" Kuroi teased sticking her tongue out.
"Just get me out of here Kuroi!" Tide snapped and shook the clumps of snow off of his fur, Kuroi just giggled and lowered her paw down to Tide. After she hauled him out of the hole he looked at her questioningly.
"What?" Kuroi asked.
"Eh, it's nothing don't worry about it." Tide shrugged.
"Whatever." Kuroi growled and picked up her speed until she was almost at a steady trot. Kuroi held her black and white head high, the sun was beginning to set and it casted a beautiful glow over the snow, it looked like a shimmering sea of reds, oranges, and pinks. As they neared their destination; or the party area they saw a large fire and a lot of simbgwenyas standing around and talking, a few were dancing in their own exotic ways. Kuroi saw a few 'bowls' of berry dye. She went over to them and got a few festive red designs. Kuroi saw Jade and Sanfaia, so she walked over to Jade as Sanfaia left to go flirt with the other females.
"He'll never learn." Jade smirked.
Kuroi chuckled and shook her head "Maybe one day he'll find one that suits him."
"I doubt that!" Jade teased lightly " Anyway how was your journey here?" She asked curiously and winked.
Kuroi sighed and rolled her eyes "He doesn't like me they way I like him Jade. You know that. I don't even know why I chase after him it's useless either way. He's after some other girl." She muttered
"Well lets out all of that behind us and go meet some guys!" Jade smiled happily and nudged Kuroi enthusiastically.
"No thanks." Kuroi sighed "You go ahead." She watched as her friend left and she saw Jade bound up to some male. "They seem to be close." Kuroi muttered and turned away from Jade and went to lean against one of the tall trees. Kuroi smiled and nodded to the others walking past her but for all she cared the smiles were fake.
"Why can't I be happy like all those other pairs?" Kuroi questioned herself silently. "I guess I really don't care as long as Tide is happy." She sighed. The snow was still falling gently but the stars were partly visible.
"Nonsense child, you should not lie to yourself, or fill your heart with dread. You do not know how Tide feels for you Kuroi. Maybe he's scared of being rejected or being hurt. He acts the way he does to protect himself the way you do. Now you've come all this way, don't just sit here and sulk. Go have fun Kuroi." Kuroi spun around too see who had said that but all that was there was the sparkling snow that shimmered in the moonlight. Kuroi stood up and went to go talk with the others. It was almost midnight and the special guests would be arriving soon.
"Hey Kuroi…" Tide said shyly as Kuroi turned around.
"Yes?" Kuroi asked gently, a small red blush spreading across her face, her ears were laid back slightly.
It was midnight, no longer was it Christmas Eve but it was Christmas day. A gust of wind brought not only snow but also the special guests, one in particular looked at Kuroi with a smile. Kuroi mouthed a 'thank you' to the guest and nuzzled Tide who smiled and nuzzled Kuroi back. After they had introduced themselves to the others who had never met them before the Simbgwenyas got back to the party.
"Hey Tide, you know what happens when they get here right? You remember don't you?" Kuroi asked looking from Tide to the sky.
"Of course, it's almost time isn't it?" Tide smiled
Kuroi nodded and smiled at him. As they and the rest of the crowd looked onto the sky a beautiful ribbon of light erupted across the starry black ocean. The ribbon flowed into different colors like a river, all the simbgwenyas stared in awe at the lights.It looks like the stars had caught on fire, as if someone had started a fire on one star and it leapt to the surrounding creating a shimmering wildfire. Kuroi spotted the SGA that had given her advice earlier, she left Tide and walked over to the female "Hey, I just wanted to thank you for helping me out earlier with ... you know?" She said a red tint coming over her face
"It's no problem, I was glad to help." December smiled "I'm Decembers Breath, December for short. I assume all has gone well?" She grinned
Kuroi nodded "It has, though did you talk to Tide too?" She asked tilting her head
December shook her head "No that was another friend." She said beckoning to Jade. "My time is up here, I must go and I wish you luck, you'll need it." She said and disappeared with a gust of wind.

Personality: December is very helpful but she's reserved, she talks when it's appropriate and gives incredibly good advice. She doesn't like to see others mad and she'll do anything to cheer them up
