Polarus flicked his ear worriedly. "Great now we have two problems.Kia and I were down torwards the edge of camp when we heard a gunshot and the barks of dogs. It shouldn't be till tomorrow they reach us. About the fish we should tell everyone to not eat any fish and stick to mammals."

Kaise had to laugh at this. "I was bored and you the only one I knew around here." she said seeing him wink and raise a brow. "The question is can you get enough?" she wink back grinning.

Falon rolled his eyes. "Oh please, why do you think I left you with Kia?" He asked with a chuckle, a paw laid over his rabbit.

Dusk cursed under his breath, something he didn't do often. "Blast." He snarled to himself, ears back. Right now, fish wasn't a main food source, they could live without it. But come spring with the salmon run, Dusk and Hailstorm had sent out wolves to compete with the occasional bear for the fish. It kept them alive till most of the deer came back. But now they had hunters... Nodding, Dusk agreed to Polarus' advisement about the fish. "What about the hunter's though. There are to many loners out there that could be shot or killed even."

"I asume we should send a warning to all the loners so word gets around so everyone can know to hide." Polarus said, he too was frustrated about this but he tried to keep it a secret and stay calm.

Kaise rolled her eyes. "I didn't get a good vibe form her, so I rather be by you than her." she shrug. Kaise flick snow on him and chuckle. "Do you ever eat birds? I used to with my best friend Rose and Logan all the time when we were younger." she said softly, her face now had a sullen look, she miss Rose and Logan deeply.

Dusk shook his head slightly. "No, that won't work. The only one who would know where most of them might be would be Falon. And I don't think I want to put other wolves lives in his paws just yet." Dusk said. He was calmer now, his mind clearer than before. "However, if the hunters are to be here by tomorrow, we are either going to have to move, or scatter. We're just lucky that they didn't come later. Otherwise we'd have pups to think about to."

Falon shrugged his black shoulders. "Sometimes. They aren't my favorite though. To many feathers." He shook his head when she flicked snow onto him, shaking it off.

Polarus flicked his ears. " Acrossed the stream is a safe spot it's father away yes, but then we'll know for sure that they won't come that far. However we must warn everyone not to catch fish when were down there." he said then he flinched and looked away he started as his paws as he had another flashback. There was a tall gray wolf, muscular and strong. Polarus reffered to it as his dad,then there was beautiful white fae.

Kaise nodded softly. "So do you have any friends here?" she raise a brow. She had calm down now, and curled her tail around her side. She didn't really snow, and shuffled her body around some, then laid her head her front paws.

Dusk sighed, his head dropping slightly. "Alright, we'll send most of the pack over to where you said. The remaining amount will stay here with me. That way, we can keep eyes on the hunters or for when it is safe to return."

Falon shook his head. "Naw, not really. I haven't been in a pack for a while so I am still getting used to it." He said, tearing off a chunk of flesh from the rabbit.

"I just hope I can join." Kaise whisper softly. "So, do you think I could have beat you, if we had fought?" she ask a sly smiled appeared on her face.

Polarus nodded and flicked his tail. "On this assessment I'm taking Vesper i've been watching her and I want to see how well she thinks for the pack, and see if shes good enough to be beta. I'm sure she will but i will be testing her. Anyways who's staying with you?"
