I woke up with a start, unbeknownst to me why. I felt really hot and got outside just when a cool morning breeze swept over me, freshening my senses. I sat by the lake, playing with the water.

Ebony Looked around,Unsure where too go since it was her First day at the school, she pulled a loose strand of hair behind her ear. Sighing, Ebony looked around too see if anyone could help her

~Jake~

Jake sighed, Another Boring day for him. but that didn't keep him down, as he walked around the school, trying to get familiarise himself with his new surroundings

I looked back at him, my mouth watering at the thought of food. For his question, the only other place I knew to go to was home. "Nope, I don't really know this town that well,", I admitted, looking down for a moment. I peeked about, looking for shadows to use as we walked.

Hotaru grinned and looked up at the sky with half-lidded eyes. "That's alright, neither do we that much. We know most of the area around the west territory, but otherwise that's it." He explained, absently biting his lip as he thought about what to order this time.

I looked at my watch and realized I was late for school. I quickly got dressed and packed my school stuff. I left home and got to school pretty quickly. The bell ring just as I got in and I headed for my class.

I looked over at Misa, who was being strangely quiet, at least from what I had seen. Instead of commenting, though, I kept silent. However, the silence quickly bored me, so I searched my brain for something to talk about. "So...", I started, still not sure what to say,"What would y'all recommend for food?"

Misaki stared up from the ground at Cas before tapping a finger to his chin as he noisily thought about the question. "Uummm.... how about... well, I usually just order the small pizza with a side of fries." He admitted with his own half-grin.

"I get the burger with chips." Hotaru bluntly replied as he turned to his companions. "But there's also stuff like salads, desserts, drinks and all of that."

"So helpful,", I muttered, thinking. I didn't mean to sound so cross, but I really had no idea what I was going to get, and both of them already knew. I felt a bit slow, and I hated not knowing the answers. "Erm, I dunno. Water and a hot-dog, I guess,", I decided, hoping it wouldn't be too bad.

"If you want." Hotaru chuckled, slightly amused at her somewhat negative attitude. "I heard the hot-dogs were good, at least." He shrugged, hoping that would make her just a little bit happier.

I smiled at his attempt to lighten my mood. I felt bad for being so rude when they were trying to be kind, I just couldn't help it. "Hopefully. If not, I could just take your chips,", I teased, smiling a bit. I had to admit, even if I didn't generally like people, they weren't that bad. I was enjoying myself, and I dreaded having to leave them.
