Sorrow Of An Iris
She could feel Infernos warm breath on her fur. She shifted her weight a little bit and lied her head down on the cave floor. She snorted softly, her breath billowing in the cold crisp air. As he spoke of sleep, she wanted to sleep to but she was on edge. Iris had no thought of leaving Inferno's warm side. He was nice and kind and warm. He also saved her life. Iris now vowed that she would someday return him with something in a thanks for saving her life. Her eyes where full of tiredness. She closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep full of darkness almost instantly.

Nightingale thought for a moment "Inferno?" she asked quietly "When I said I'd join.. I meant it. I'm not oging to leave" she smiled. Seeing him act with Iris proved that he really had some caring instincts. Looking out in the blizzarding cold, she walked over to the stallion. Curling next to him, her body drained of all enegery she hadp ossible

The mare smiled and nuzzled him affectionately. Her ears perked as she heard his offer. They had only just met and this stallion wanted her as part of his herd? She was rather flattered "I-I would love to be in a herd with you" she nickered to him happily, her brown eyes glowed at the stallion. "Thank you very much" she thanked him and nuzzled him again.

She thought over his offer in her mind, wondering about what this could bring to her in the future. The possibilities were endless, he could make her so happy, he could make her sad, he could even make her jealous. But for now, she was actually very much liking this stallion. He seemed very kind and she appreciated his nature. "Why, yes, yes I would love that" she nickered, her eyes excited.

The tall stallion wandered into the shelter after the mare, glad to finally be out of the dreadful blustering. He walked over to the mare and groomed her coat and mane. "Oh, your freezing" he nickered softly, standing close to her to try and provide her with some warmth as he continued to pick the pesky snowflakes from her lovely mane.

Broken beamed "Well..welcome to the herd" he said looking around him "For this you get a badge." he smirked looking around. Finding a small pebble he nosed it too her, laughing softly. Yawning gently, he laid his head on his hooves. Watching the snow melt from his body heat, the little drops of water running down his legs.

Far Away In Pictures
Pixar smiled and nuzzled Hope back smiling softly. "Great. Your welcome." He smiled and groomed her mane gently pulling out the snow that clung to her frame. The storm howled and raged on with no hesitation. Pixar was quite glad to have a mare in his herd for once in his life. All of the other mares he had ever seen where where either in a stallions herd or turned down his offer.

The golden mare laughed as he nosed the small pebble towards her. She used her muzzle to gather it up and bought it close to her body. She looked up at him "Well thank you" she chimed happily "You are the first family I've had since the humans" she said, looking up at him with grateful eyes.

The lean mare smiled and closed her dark eyes quietly. After days of wandering in the winter, she was very tired. She cuddled against the stallions warm body as she began to doze off. She found a sort of comfort in him, he made her feel safe and she couldn't have been happier to be his mare, his Hope.

Broken's eyes gleamed. "Well, I'm glad your part of my family" he smiled nuzzling her cheek softly. "Why don't we get some sleep?" he smiled brushing his nose against hers. Yawning he laid his head down across her back.

She nodded "I'm glad too" she nickered and a yawn escaped her muzzle. Sleep sounded like a very satisfying idea right about now. She rested her wary head on the ground and her eyelids became heavy as she began to fall into a deep sleep. She hadn't known how tired she was up until that moment, after so long wandering in the snow.

The mare swerved her ears in her sleep as she dreamed. She dreamed of her old family and how they used to gallop up and down the rocky mountainside. Then her dream turned sad, a blizzard struck and it tore her apart from her herd, her beloved parents and everything she knew. Her dream went dark and a light shiver ran down her spine as she remained asleep.
