Night Terror watched Auroch walk away. She would miss him, she knew, there was something appealing about the sad, deep eyes that twinkled kindly that hurt her to leave but she knew he had to leave. She wished she might see him again, even in a fleeting moment that was unintentional and brief. She stared after him and then turned, feeling the wind caressing her blind side bringing back her fear and unknown. Left to her own solace, Night Terror walked at an agonizing pace, her steps uneven and unsure. She settled by a pool of silver water, she stood so she could watch the ripples of wind on the small pocket of water. She let a single tear flow down her cheek and put her head down,letting her brindled mane fall over her eyes.

Fawn raised her head and glanced around. She was standing under some unknown tree, its branches and leaves hanging low to shade her from any onlookers. She flattened her ears and stared into the distance. She would do anything for some company. She raised her sandy head and nibbled at the drooping leaves.

Location: A clearing in Herdland boundries

Dexter looked down at her smiling,
He had never really felt this way about anyone.
He felt that same protective bonding love, like the one he felt for Kyla,
But he felt even more for Poetry, he didn't know how it was possible.

He leaned over to her and fooled with her forelock and chuckled,
"Come on, Happy, I dunno about you but I am starving."

He grinned and threw her a wink before starting to slowly
walk-limp towards the trail that Kyla had just galloped down,

He knew the threat had since gone, but he kept Poetry close,
Glancing around occasionally making sure nothing was strange,

But he soon heard the comforting sounds of the herd,
He could even feel his pace take up as he felt home coming up.

He was excited to see his family and that comfy spot of moss he always
slept in and that nice lush patch of marsh grass,

Just...Home...

He pushed through the leaves and smiled, glancing back at Poetry
He could finally show her his world, and keep her close to him...

If she felt she wanted to stay....

He looked around and then to Poetry, he smiled and nuzzled her cheek happily,

"You can go explore if you want, everyone's pretty friendly here."
He grinned.
"I'm just gonna go get something to eat, You need anything?"

She looked around at all the other kelpies and smiled. They all seemed so happy and she felt much calmer.
She turned her gaze up at him, not wanting to let go.
"No I'm fine, don't be to long" she returned his nuzzle and smiled. Then she turned toward the herd and started to walk around. She smiled as she walked and wondered if she would make eny new friends around.

Fawn snapped her head up to see a mare near her. "New friends could be worth it." She thought, flicking her dark tail and smiling. "I'm Fawn."
