Scarflight narrowed her eyes at Featherkit. "You say your sorry right now or I'll tell your mother when she gets back." Looking at Leafkit she meowed. "Your welcome to stay."

Darkpaw rolled his eyes. He flicked his tail impatiently.

FeatherKit sighed. " Sorry." she said. " you better tell mother that Nightkit has some hearing and speech problems..... What's next seeing?" she mumbled walking off. NightKit looked at Scarflight. " I'm different that every cat aren't I." he said. " but I know who I want to be!" he said smiling.


IcePaw yawned. " I'm bored. Should we go or give DarkPaw a grand tour of the city?" she asked.

Leafkit smiled. "Thank you, umm, what's you name?" Leafkit licked her chest fur in embarresment. "Sorry, I don't know anyone's name yet."

"Im Scarflight. The medicene cat. Im going to find Leafstar, You can stay here and play with Nightkit if you want."

Darkpaw flicked his ears waiting to hear there answer he was anxious to get home quickly but he had never been to such a strange place.

Leafkit blinks at Scarflight. "O-ok, Scarflight." Leafkit looks around for Nightkit but can't find him. She shrugs and dozes, listening to the hypnotic tune of the waterfall.

Shadow smiled. " Sure, A tour sounds fun. then you can give us a tour of the forest." she said. She looked to DarkPaw. " The City's nothing like you'd ever imagined. So follow us." she said turning and walking deeper into the alleyways. Her Gang following. IcePaw and SoulFire helped Fang walk. Stone bringing up the rear just behind Darkpaw.

NightKit looked to LeafKit. He crouched low and pounced on her, making them barrel down a small hill and fall into the pool just below the waterfall. NightKit let out a shriek of terror as his head was pushed down under the water again by the waves. Once he surfaced, he gasped. "I..... c-can't s-swim. Mommy help me! Mommy, Mommy!" he cried as he was swept under once more.

Leafkit gasped and swished strongly against the water. She grabbed Nightkit's scruff and dragged him upwards. When she reached the shore, she put Nightkit and the bank and dragged herself up. "I wouldn't suggest doing that again!" She squeaked as she shook her fur. "You nearly drowned! You're lucky I know how to swim."

NightKit lay there motionless. You could barley see the rise and fall of his chest. His eyes were closed and black fur plastered to his body. FeatherKit ran out of the nursery. "Big Brother!" she squeaked. NightKit remained unresponsive. She prodded him with a paw, but It was useless. NightKit was unconscious. FeatherKit looked at LeafKit. " My brother! what did you do to my brother!" she cried looking at her brother. Her silver eyes turned to LeafKit once more, burning bright with anger.

"I didn't do anything! He tumbled into me and I saved him!" She squeaked. She went over to Nightkit and rubbed his chest. "Wake up." Leafkit muttered.

FeatherKit shook her head. " That doesn't matter now......... Doesn't pay to quarrel." she said her head low. NightKit coughed but didn't wake up.
