The freedom I had as a lone mare was amazing no aggression from stallions or attitude from other mares. I had only bad experiances being in a red with many mares without foals. All of them stuck up and thought they were the stallions most prized mare by skirting away when he wanted foals. Though I was soon stopped in the snow when I heard a desperate whinny, slowly I made my way over. There was a mare with a tiny buckskin foal underneath laying in the snow. She must be very cold and the mother desperate to let out such a whinny. "Do you need somewhere to stay," I say though my mothering side had come out and I was more asking the foal. I had lost my only foal a year ago, he was about the size of this foal when he died, I couldn't let this little foal die or her mother.

Nightingale is very curious, she has a affinity for stealth and agility. Nightingale has a soft sense of humor, with a slight hint of seriousness. Despite her liking to be funny, when the going gets tough she does take things seriously. Nightingale has a low self-esteem and very shy. She needs the right stallion to 'crack her shell'

On. Dec.24th a black and white filly was born. She got the name Sing, Sweet Nightingale from her parents (she prefers to keep them unnamed). Her ''household'' wasn't quite stable, as her father could seem to care less for her mother. It wasn't uncommon to see Nightingale's sire brutally beat her mother. Most of the time she wished she could have taken her place. When Nightingale was 1 year, her mother died. It was then Nightingale left her father, tired of his lack of parenting and cruel intentions. She knew life from then on would be hard, but she somehow managed to live this far.

Broken is very serene, letting the world turn at it's own pace. He despises stallions who snake or fight other mares. He believe's it's the mares' choice, NOT his own. It takes a good deal to tick him off, but when it happens..someone better 'hold him back'. Broken likes to be independent at most times. He enjoys the company of youngster.

Broken Timewatch was born to a herd of 5, his foal hood was alright, despite the ''training'' he received. At a very young age Broken was taught how to fend for himself and his own herd. When he turned two and he set out to make his own herd, he somewhat wished he payed attention to the hard lessons. It's been 1 year and he still has no herd. Hopefully he'd find one soon..he'd need to if it meant surviving.

Stephano's Sheild was abandoned at the age of 3 months. He found a surrogate dam that helped feed him but soon abandoned him too. While walking around he found Nightingale grazing, he wondered if he'd ever have a mother. Nightingale fell inlove with the colt, taking him in as her own. He will grow and prosper very well.

Sailor's Light + Jinx's Sundown

Sailor perked her ears and guarded her filly from the harsh snow. She snorted softly and turned to the talking voice. "In fact we do. I don't feel like loosing my filly in the storm." She murmured softly and dropped her head, nibbling on Jinx's mane softly waking the small filly up. Jinx shivered and Sailor nuzzled her softly again. "You have to stand up. You won't live if you sleep out here." She murmured softly to Jinx. Jinx whinnied with protest but stood up anyways, staying under her mother's belly from the cold harsh snow that pelted her buckskin coat. Sailor guarded Jinx from the snow.

Cold Snap .:. Lone Mare
Snap was just about to doze off when she heard a terrible neigh from not far off. She got up quickly and left her cave heading toward it knowing that such a neigh could not mean good news. She soon came across two mares and a young foal and took pity on them. "I know of shelter." she say moving up to the other horses without bothering to introduce herself first. She could see that the foal was in no condition to be out here in this weather, nor his dam for that matter. "Quickly follow me." she said and turned back going back to where she had come from until she reached the cave entrance she had just come from. "In here, we can all fit in, it opens up inside." she explained and nudged them on in gently with her nose eager to help out in any way she could.

Lucky Sprint was pawing in vain at the frozen solid grass near a river. He shook his heavy head to get the snow from the storm off. Everything was a pure white around him! His instincts split apart in two ways, one to go and look for shelter, the other to stay and try to get that root. He decided to stay, for now.

The dun mare looked over the tall stallion with a type of curious nature that lingered deep within her gentle brown eyes. "Oh?" she nickered "Well yes, but I haven't much choice" she shrugged "There is no shelter and my family are miles away". She wondered what this stallion might be thinking, it was hard to tell with her vision of the broad horse blurred by the snow. She sneezed as another cold shiver ran down her spine, she wasn't the correct breed to be stuck in the snow, but she survived.

IN general, a nicer mare. She is not one that will be seen putting up with others getting into little spats. It irritates her greatly. Flirty at times, she can be seen as advertising herself quite a bit. A bit of a hard catch, though, which could be interesting. She does not like it when she is rejected or looked down upon. That will set her off. But her head is usually held high and her tempers extinguished. Some will try to figure her out, as she seems to possess dimensions. It will often be too much of a feat for most, and she will be left alone again. She does not really like to be alone, but really has no choice. She wishes for a companion that will try.

Born wild. She was born into a nicely sized herd, and had a pretty standard life, really. There was not a whole lot of excitement. Unless you hear it from her, she really has no story to tell here. No one is really sure of where she got this complex attitude. But she had been with a few stallions but left because there was nothing...there. She craves determination.

A muscular and fit stallion thanks to army training. He has some height too.

A bold one. Out here, Eternal has no intention to go easy. As was told to him many times, go hard or go home. Around his place, not many dare venture. He is a merciless stallion, but will protect mares with his life. He does not count them for numbers, and if one could care enough to try, could find a spirit buried somewhere in his deep dark eyes. A big guy, this stallion does not throw around his weight. He will chase a mare and attempt to snake her if he feels she will them be safe. Strange as it is, he is seen most active in the evening when the sun casts an orange light than reflects off his pelt in a fiery tint. The high class brand on his flank only reminds him of his last life, and this causes him to remain as is, not really respecting the mushy stallions and cuddly couples. It is the wild. Deal with it.
But he will seem a gentleman, as he was trained tirelessly to be so.

He started life with his sister Fallen, being taken by the same man. As she was taken and trained mercilessly for obedience, he got the worst. He would be used for laboring feats, and eventually as cavalry. His mane chopped short, he looked refined. As soon as the man seemed to get an idea of how tough Eternal was, he seemed to grow worse. Plows on his aching back. A heavy saddle cast over it the next day for herding. Used then for fighting among the humans, he was further disciplined. The stallion was often used for a stud to generate more recruits for the army. A civilized crest was burnt into his flank, a permanent reminder to mind his P's and Q's. After many years of galloping in gunshots, he had had it. He is a true wild stallion, believing he is dominant. Escaping from the camp, he followed his sister than night out to this place, and they parted ways.

Effects swished his tail and leaned his head into the soft wind. He sniffed the wind, searching for some mares. He wriggled his nose and blew through his nose. He nickered to the mares and danced in a circle around them. His dappled coat shone in the sun and his muscles rippled. He nickered, "Hello ladies,"He nipped a rump and sniffed at the air.

Cowgirl watched her brother and rolled her eyes. She looked like his twin, she was just shorter and a little darker. This could be an advantage. The stallions would think she was a stallion and leave her be. She grazed quietly and stopped when she smelled that familiar scent. Shoot, my heat scent. She stamped a hoof and brought up her head, looking for anyone tat had smelled it yet. Her heart had sunk.
