Repeating this because people are still harrasing me and saying I'm a scammer.

It happens. People have called me a scammer before, because if someone OFFERS me a trade that is overpay to me, and they seem to know what they are talking about... of COURSE I'm going to accept it unless they are clearly new and in need of some proper guidance! Why? Because I assume they are being generous?
But I still have people who blocked me and reported me and verbally abused me for scamming them, because I accepted, or asked for something that they OFFERED OPENLY!
Does that make me a bad person? I'm not sure.

You will, and I would expect anyone to do the same with an offer I made them in full knowledge of the nature of it!
Taking a good trade does not make someone a bad person, unless they are the one who has purposefully DECEIVED the giver into giving it without knowing what they are doing... THAT is scamming!

If I sent you a trade for a Moonswirl and I was offering a Dotag, that would also not be scaming. It is only scamming if you give false information.

Exactly, if you sent me a trade for a moonswirl offering a dogtag, you would be offering unfair, but you would not be SCAMMING.
You would be scamming if you sent me that trade telling me that the dogtag had recently been bumped up to be equal to the moonswirl, and the list needed to be updated.
Now if I sent YOU the trade offering a moonswirl for a dogtag, and seemed to know what I was doing. You would take it, and it would not make you a scammer or me a scam-ee? victim.

I think that people made such a collassal deal out of being scammed out of pets this year that it has everyone paranoid and pointing the finger blindly. Kinda like the Salem Witch trials, you know? We're so afraid of it happening to us and making such a big deal out of it, people are reporting left and right for unfair trades or underpay, even when asked to edit or add pets and nothing had been said about rarities actually changing. I feel bad for the mods for having to rifle through all the misreports to get to the real scammers...
Normally, unfair trades are posted here or just cancelled and the matter has ended but now everyone is freaking out and reporting bad trades when there is nothing to report.

FInally got that dang advent dragon plushie dog. One missed outcome and people cancelling my overpay trades left and right. Ugh.

They were so nice that I feel bad for ranting. That was the intial trade...I have all of those items and I never asked for those specific items. I just found it such an odd and out of the blue offer.
The one we settled on was overpay on my side but I feel like it was better than overpaying with rares or previous year collection pets.
