You know, I feel like an idiot.
Yes, I now realise how unfairly I have been asking to trade for newborns. I'm sorry about that. I just didn't know that they were so valuable.
But please, can people stop accusing me of scamming? Yes, I offered a 2008 very rare rat for a toxic, and I said it was a very rare 2008 rat. That isn't scamming. What would be scamming is me saying that my rat is the rarest pet on the site. I know I'm rubbish at trading but please stop >.<

It happens. People have called me a scammer before, because if someone OFFERS me a trade that is overpay to me, and they seem to know what they are talking about... of COURSE I'm going to accept it unless they are clearly new and in need of some proper guidance! Why? Because I assume they are being generous?
But I still have people who blocked me and reported me and verbally abused me for scamming them, because I accepted, or asked for something that they OFFERED OPENLY!
Does that make me a bad person? I'm not sure.

You will, and I would expect anyone to do the same with an offer I made them in full knowledge of the nature of it!
Taking a good trade does not make someone a bad person, unless they are the one who has purposefully DECEIVED the giver into giving it without knowing what they are doing... THAT is scamming!

If I sent you a trade for a Moonswirl and I was offering a Dotag, that would also not be scaming. It is only scamming if you give false information.

That is what happens if you keep a pet that is in high demand in an open group, especially if it is in your signature as well
I got plenty of terrible offers on my toxic, when I kept it in my signature, for example.

Why nobody wants my Scarf PPS? I know it is a September list and wishlist locked by me. But isn't there anybody who wants to bid?

Ugh don't know what to do, should I remove the WL lock on my list pets group? It might get me loads of bad trades through but with the group WL locked people with list pups might not be able to offer

It is quite amusing to see all of these terrible trades though. How people think that I won't notice that they are massively underpaying. But even if they don't know the rarity of the Joker, they still should ask 'Is this fair' and NOT PM me complaining. I got a PM just now:

'u did not have to put my trade up in that one forum'

I replied, yes I did, it was a very bad trade. I had also linked them to the Rares List guide too. You know what I wish for? Something that allows me to disable people from searching through my posts.

Exactly, if you sent me a trade for a moonswirl offering a dogtag, you would be offering unfair, but you would not be SCAMMING.
You would be scamming if you sent me that trade telling me that the dogtag had recently been bumped up to be equal to the moonswirl, and the list needed to be updated.
Now if I sent YOU the trade offering a moonswirl for a dogtag, and seemed to know what I was doing. You would take it, and it would not make you a scammer or me a scam-ee? victim.

I hate trying to trade for art because it means tying my pets up for months for something I probably won't get at all.

I am honestly confused.

I have the new UR Cat alright?
She's in a group, unlocked and up for offers since I don't want it.
Her group isn't wishlist locked due to people who might offer me re-release newborns.

It clearly says in her name that she is a 12' UR Cat, and I require List pets for her.
I'm not demanding things like a Sunjewel etc yet, just saying that I want List pet offers.

What's the problem?
I've gotten a big handful of one-sided offers (against my rules) for her asking me what I want.

UR Cat, meaning don't offer me common pets.
List offers, meaning don't offer me misc rares or no rares at all.

In fact, I told a person I require either List offers or the UR Pot (me willing to add of course).
What kind of offer they give me? 3 wishlist hoard pets, that are all from earlier on from the Advent.
