❦ Introduction

Welcome to version two of the Trantorian Wolf Pack. We welcome all new members with open arms, but be warned that with the second version of this thread, it is much easier to be kicked out. Please read our new and revised rules before you join/re-join.

This club is intended for semi-literate and literate roleplayers only, and in the second thread I'm holding the requirements high. The ultimate plot of this roleplay has yet to be released to the public, expect its release in late June. The Trantorian Wolf Pack strives to have among the most members of any wolf pack on CS. This, in the last thread, held true. If you were a part of the last thread, you have to re-join, and re-earn your rank/status.

I will highlight this even outside the rules: Three Strikes, You're out, and there's no returning.

Usually when a wolf looks at the pack of Trantoria, they think of it as a friendly, welcoming pack, available to all new members, no matter their skill or traits. In reality, Trantoria is a pack that is not a friend nor a foe. Trantoria is neutral. Balancing the pack status by eliminating and accepting Trantorians, Trantoria is sometimes not the right pack for just any wanderer. Everybody who is in the pack, whether they enjoy it or not, will work and do their share to keep it running. Any wolf in the the pack who fails to see the reality of the pack is very quick to be exiled without chance of return.

❦ Pack History

Trantoria originally was ruled by a vicious dictator, whom was unfortunately Nvyohi's father. He ruled with an iron paw, and kept secrets from the pack all while telling lies. Many wolves perished under his rule, and the pack was losing numbers- fast. Nvyohi made a life or death decision for his pack one evening when he dueled his father for the Alpha position, winning and overthrowing him as Alpha. After months of re-training the pack into a healthy state, Nvyohi did the first major event that had been accomplished in Trantoria history-- he was open for new members to support Trantoria once more. Soon the pack population grew and expanded. With the larger numbers, it did manage to create larger issues. Wolves who didn't cooperate and do their share put the pack in an awkward position.

Not all the wolves were doing their part to support the pack, and Nvyohi had to make a decision that would alter his perfect reputation towards his beloved pack. He had to force the wolves that didn't work out of the pack, making sure none of them were able to get back in. Nvyohi's pack was running smoothly, and they became neutral. They did not start, end, or participate in wars and battles between packs, unless fully urged.

But multiple variables had stopped the pack from rising to the top...

❦ Rules & Joining

Out of Character rules

• • No Complaints, Ranting, Whining. Complaining includes, "Oh, I didn't get the rank I wanted in promotion. Can you please move me up because I'm your friend??" Ranting includes, "I hate this pack. It's stupid, I don't think anyone should like it." Whining, which also goes along with complaining, includes, "I got deleted from the pack roster! Please add me back on again, I'm so sad." This will cause immediate expulsion from the pack. I just can't listen to this kind of thing all day.

• • No Powerplaying, God-Modding, Mary Sues, Gary Sues, etc. This is really annoying, and it doesn't fit the standards I like to hold in the pack. In case you don't know what any of these are, please refer to this wonderful thread put together by CS staff: Click.

• • No Chatspeak to a certain extent. This is a very divided topic. When you are roleplaying, Chatspeak is not allowed at any time during the roleplay. Even if you are talking out of character during the roleplay, no smilies, abbreviations, or anything that is annoying and considered chatspeak. If it is not in a roleplay situation, you are free to use smilies, but don't go overboard with them. Maybe one or two smilies, max. And outside of roleplays, there is still no chatspeak allowed on the thread.

• • In pack roleplays, sometimes I only specify a certain group of wolves to participate. If you really feel like your wolf has a major role in the roleplay, and you weren't specified to participate, PM me and we can work something out.

• • All of the CS Roleplay and Forum Rules apply. Here are all the links to the rules of CS and the Roleplay Rules, Guides, etc of CS, just in case you're too lazy to go looking for the links: [X] [X] [X] [X] [X] [X] [X] [X]

• • If you spam the thread at all, you will be kicked out. It is a 3-strike club, and we aren't afraid to leave you out. People spamming the thread last time is what ultimately caused the collapse and hiatus of this pack, and I don't want it to happen again.

• • When you join, you aren't allowed to sign up for anything in the royal class unless I PM you saying you can. Royal class is Alpha, Alphess, Beta, Betess, Monarch, and Marchioness.

In Character rules

• • You're allowed 2 wolves, with the exception of having a litter. But you can only have pups during the Spring season, which Shy will announce in the news.

• • Always respect a higher rank than yourself while roleplaying. If you disrespect a wolf of higher status during a roleplay, you will be demoted to either a subordinate or an omega, depending on how bad the offense was.

• • You're only allowed 1 litter of 3 at max, and on top of that you'll need to roleplay them yourselves.

• • If you fall inactive without cause for 7 Days, you will be removed from the Trantoria Roster. I will be much more serious about this rule now.

• • Nothing crude, overly violent, or offensive is allowed in our PG-13 roleplays.

• • No force-breeding. This is extremely important, and CS's newest rule.

• • All wolves of the Royal class are to be addressed properly. Alpha, Beta, and Monarch are to be addressed as Sir, while Alphess, Betess, and Marchioness are to be addressed as Ma'am, Miss, or Dame.

• • Don't post about anything that would occur outside of the wolves' world. i.e. pizza, television, cars, etc.

• • No miniplots whatsoever, excluding relationships.

• • Whenever you post, it must be in 3rd person past tense. Since there is major confusion with 1st and 3rd person & Past and Present tense in the roleplay world, here is an example of what to do and what not to do: (Green means that is how you should post, Red means that is how you shouldn't post.

(3rd Person Past Tense)
'Nvyohi sprinted down to the creek in pursuit of a rabbit. Leaping over the creek, the chase continued, with Nvyohi's massive jaws inches from closing in on the rabbit.'

(3rd Person Present Tense)
'Nvyohi sprints down to the creek in pursuit of a rabbit. He leaps over the creek, and the chase continues, with Nvyohi's massive jaws inches from closing in on the rabbit.''

(1st Person Present Tense)
'I sprint down to the creek in pursuit of a rabbit. I leap over the creek, and the chase continues, with my massive jaws inches from closing in on the rabbit.''

(1st Person Past Tense)
'I sprinted down to the creek in pursuit of a rabbit. I leaped over the creek, and the chase continued, with my massive jaws inches from closing in on the rabbit.''

• • Being literate/semi-literate isn't an option, it's a requirement. Per post, you must write 2 paragraphs worth of information, no questions asked. 1 Paragraph is equal to 4-5 Sentences, so that means that you must write 8-10 Sentences in detail describing what your character is doing/thinking.

• • Don't leave anyone behind in the roleplay if they initially join unless they go inactive for more than 3 days. I'm sick and tired of when people go "1 on 1" in a group roleplay. In fact, from now on we will go in an assigned order. If you are caught leaving someone behind, you will get a strike, no questions.

The form really isn't that hard. Replace 'CHARACTER NAME HERE' with your character's name, and where it says 'TYPE HERE', put your answer to the question on the left there.

Royal Council

Alphess: The alphess leads the pack alongside the alpha. She is in charge of the organization of the pack as well as the Alpha. She is solely in charge of giving promotions, after conversing with the Alpha. As a single ruler of the pack she is the cream of the crop, the one that has royal blood, who is a true leader.

Alpha: The alpha leads the pack alongside the alphess. He is in charge of the organization of the pack as well as the Alphess. Betess: Steps in place as Alpha the Alphas' fall. She is mate to the Beta, and she will take on all responsibilities of the alphess if the alphess meets her death. Once the Betess is alphess, the Deltess will take her old place. She usually has healing knowledge, and can instruct the healers at any given time.

Beta: Steps in place as Alpha the Alphas' fall. He is mate to the Betess, and he will take on all responsibilities of the alpha if the alpha meets his death. Once the Beta is alpha, the Delta will take his old place. He trains the assassins.

Monarch: This high-class role is played by a male wolf. Also helping in the leadership of the pack (Along with the Alphas and Betas), he also is the main wolf that essentially trains the Upper Class wolves.

Marchioness: The mate of the Monarch, the Marchioness also helps out in training, but she specializes in training wolves in the subordinate category. She helps them train to fit other ranks, considering there is an overwhelming amount of subordinates.

The Upper Class

Deltess: She is the trustworthy wolf that has been chosen to take the place of the Betess if she either ranks up or falls. Mate to Delta.

Delta: He is the trustworthy wolf that has been chosen to take the place of the Beta if he either ranks up or falls. Mate to Deltess.

The Shayde: The Shayde (Singular: Shayde, Plural: Shayde) are the body guards of the Royal Class. They will protect and fend for them at all costs. These are one of the most trustworthy members of the pack, and are fond of protecting their leaders. Willing to die for their leaders.

The Elders: The age and wisdom of the pack. They have retired, and reside jobless in the pack, providing information and solving situations. All wolves over the age of 6 automatically become Elders.

The Healers: The trained healers, yet not as skilled as the lead healer. They are willing to treat any case at any time of any day, and cannot refuse a case.

The Warriors: They are trained to fight, and will die for their pack at any given moment. They are also very trustworthy, and they fight behind the Lead warrior and Alpha in battles, usually attacking before being attacked. Not a very good rank if you want to be a part of the action in pack roleplays.

The Middle Class

The Scouts: These scouts will be the ones that are required to scan the territory daily for newcomers. These scouts also have the privilege of making the Royal Council aware of a new wolf via PM.

The Watchers: The young wisdom of the pack. Is very intelligent and is always aware of changes in the surroundings such as the environment, weather, and other packs. They are also the pup babysitters.

Lead Hunter: This wolf leads the hunts alongside the alphas, and is usually the one to make the final kill on the animal. Is very skilled when it comes to hunting and usually has provided the pack with much food in the past.

The Hunters: Helps the lead hunter down game. After the Royal Council, is the first to eat with the lead hunter. Can be moved out to a hunt on any given moment.

The Offspring/Pups: The youngest of the pack, under one year of age. They are the offspring of a couple, and at one year of age will move up to either a hunter or warrior, skipping the subordinate stage.

The Subordinates: The subordinates basically need to submit to everyone. They are the newcomers, the freeloaders who haven't yet done good for the pack. They should constantly try to prove themselves so they can move up quick.

The Lower Class

The Peasants: The highest rank in the lower class. They are the ones who have been demoted, the ones whom haven't been proved worthy. They submit to everyone in the pack.

To-Be-Banished: The ones who have done squat for the pack. They are assigned to a public banishment, and have no chance of getting out of it.

Banished

Banished: They're out. And can't come back.

❦ Current Pack Roleplays

As you probably already know, I host private Trantorian Roleplays. Only members of Trantoria can participate in these, and the ones listed below are running and ready to be roleplayed.
After pack roleplays are finished, I usually ask a moderator to delete them.

Strike = Finished
The Storm: Get ready for the storm of the century guys ;3
Subordinate Chance: If you are a subordinate, you have a chance to be promoted!
The Famine: Hunters: You guys will work together to find food during the famine.
Enough Playtime: Another subordinate promotion. Voodoo will be leading the subordinates outside of Trantoria. Their goal is to seek out a temporary camp suitable for staying in three days, find and map nearby resources, and return to Nvyohi and Sophronia with their findings.
A Pack Gathering: You are required to attend this conference.
A Time For Romance: This is your only chance to find a mate until the next 'Love' roleplay.

I revised the rules again, I found I was missing a few important points. Also, a new roleplay is now posted. You can view it on the 'Pack Roleplays' post. I hope you guys like it, it was the winner of our poll-- a Storm Roleplay. Also, the update in the rules are very important today. It highlights how you NEED to post 3rd person, past tense. It even gives examples, so it's worth looking at.

I am proud to announce the grand re-opening of the Trantorian Pack! I will be sending out a PM to all of the old members of the pack in case they want to re-join. From here on out, you are allowed to post. Just a note: You have to re-earn your rank and status, but Sophronia (Played by ~Cheshire Cat~) [whom was the previous Alphess] is allowed to re-join the pack as Alphess. Backstory: When Nvyohi was born, his father banished his mother, and planned to train him to be the cruel, hateable dictator his father was. Nvyohi refused his teachings, and was provoked by the abuse of wolves within the pack. He turned against his father, and took a rule to Trantoria. Then he later formed a crush on Sophronia.
Personality: A friendly, unique, and charming brute, Nvyohi rarely starts or participates in brawls, but he's not some hippie wolf who encourages good deeds and harmony among Trantoria. He can sometimes get frustrated, stressed, and overwhelmed by his duties, but remains a strong and noble role model. He enjoys snow, hunting, and watching sunrises at early dawn.

Backstory: Originally, Kivi was born unto a pack that homed only two other wolves, her mother and father. Being a first time mother, Kivi's mother neglected to give Kivi everything she needed. Kivi was not socialized with, and she felt like an outcast in her own family. She never gained the knowledge that was required of her in adulthood. Soon after her mother and father left her to be on her own, Kivi sought help in another pack. There she learned all the basic skills of survival and other categories. Now a very skilled wolf, she left the pack in hopes of starting her own. After her plan failed, she found Nvy's pack, and later joined to stay.
Personality: Not so contradictory to Nvyohi, Kivi is a friendly, bubbly wolf. Despite her scarred puphood, she has remained a wolf that always tries to keep a grinning face. She is very strong in the skills she has learned, and it is not wise to disrespect her in any way. She takes offense even to the smallest jokes.
