Sauver watched Mekah walk away. "Well I should go with her..." he said to Cody, raising an eyebrow for confirmation that he could leave.

Vesper sighed and lifted her head from the river's surface, her muzzle feeling icy with the freezing water dripping off of it. She wondered if there was anything worth catching but disposed of the thought when a breeze sent the chilly water lapping over her paws. I should go to sleep, it's late, she thought, looking at the stars twinkling above her.

Mekah continued on, crossing through the river. she suddenly caught a scent, an odd scent. She stopped, and began scenting along the bed. She suddenly saw a flash of silver by her paws. She shrieked, caught off guard and stumbled into the water, her fur dripping clear drops of water.

[growl]

Sauver bounded away at the sound of Mekah's yell. He found her by the river, soaked through. Vesper popped her face out of a bush, orange eyes wide. "What happened?" Sauver helped Mekah away from the banks. Vesper tilted her head, her wet snout wrinkling. "And what is that smell?" she said in an indignant voice.

"A Fish startled me." she mumbled, and "I don't know. This fish is GREEN!", She exclaimed, prodding it with a paw. "It's bumpy too."

Vesper frowned. "Don't touch it!" she exclaimed, nudging Mekah away from the flapping fish, which wasn't dead at all. She shuddered at the thought of eating anything like it.

Emerald gasped. "Oh...I'm very sorry." She put her head over the pup's back.

Sarah shrugged and yawned.

Cody nodded and padded off.

Dusk yawned, the movement sending a bit of pain through his spine. He was tired and sore, from what he had no idea. Might be just the stress, but he didn't bother. Getting to his paws, he stretched in an almost feline style with an arch of the back before walking out of his den. Snow greeted him and he acknowledged it with a grimly. It was nice now that the packs were joined, having the camp in the middle was perfect but he'd have to take the pack on a hunting trip before the drifts get to large. With another yawn, Dusk decided to stroll the borders before checking up with Polarus. As he walked, Dusk reflected off of the past few days. Things have been rather peaceful, which surprised him. He'd expect this season to be the most violent, with the mates and the rival loners. But everything seemed to be on a stand still for the time being.

Mekah nodded, then on a small wind current caught the scent of another wolf. Dusk. She padded after the scent without and word, and soon bumped right into him. "Oh, sorry Dusk! Um, can I talk to you about something?", She asked quietly.
