Serena had just finished getting dressed as she heard a knock on her door. She wore a simply purple dress. Serena sighed softly and stretched, rubbing the tiredness out of her eyes. "Come in!" she yelled friendly. Serena turned towards her door and sat down on her bed, eating some grapes from the tray her maid had brought her. The girl loved grapes. She hummed a song in her head as she waited for the person to come in, slightly curious about who it was.

Nick opened the large door to his sister's room, it creaked as it swung open. Serena was eating grapes on her bed as he walked in and sat next to her."Good morning Serena, I'm sorry if I'm disturbing you, but I was just wondering... Am I the only one nervous of going to the Harvest Dance tonight? Are you nervous for the dance tonight? You'll be seeing the Eldest Prince of Avalon after all..." Nick wondered why he was even in his sister's room, maybe he just wanted to check that she was okay? He was just making a fool of himself worrying about these things, normally he would just keep these thoughts to himself but today, he just felt like talking to someone and Serena was in his mind, the best choice.

Serena smiled softly as her sibling entered the room. She quickly finished the grape she was eating. "Goodmorning, Nick." she replied. The girl listened to her brother and nodded at the end. "Yes. I'm quite nervous, honestly." she admitted. "But that's only because I am a terrible dancer. I won't be sure if I will see the Eldest Prince of Avalon. It's a masquerade dance after all..." Serena seemed to drift off into thoughts, Nick's words let her think. "It is normal to be nervous, I guess." she replied, her gaze fixing on the dark blue ball gown which laid on the other side of her room.

Valisa pulled out a soft pink dress. Then she pulled out a white mask with light pink feathers coming off of it. She laid it on her bed and then quickly put on a dress to wear for now and then whent to go check on her sister. She stood in front of her sisters room and lightly knocked on the door.

Victoria had woken up early to set up for the masquerade today, which gave her much work to do. She had to make sure everything was intact, nothing went wrong, and the guests seemed to enjoy both the ball as well as the decor and food. People were swarming everyone, this way in that. She had a list if what needed to be done in her hands and was giving orders as she set the food on top of the tables. It was quite a lovely sight with all the things they did with the room. It was going to be a nice night as well, that is, if the moon came out and shone down on them. She rushed this way and that, hoping not to bump into anyone by accident. She hated them giving lectures.

A certain young prince named Kaleb Kasey Carter awoke to the most annoying sound in his life. The unmistakable sheathing noise of a servant pulling the curtains to the sides of a window. This was the noise that had woken him up from his deep slumber each morning for as long as he could remember. Unrelenting, the sound repeated four times, as the curtains were pulled back from two large windows. Then, sunlight would stream through both of them, as if wanting to blind him, and he would groan in his comfortable bed. That was the daily routine. KC moaned and groaned, rolling around in his sheets. The man servant looked on, standing next to the bed, and tsking as if to say hrmm, fussy.. The prince didn't care. He took his time rousing, and eventually sat up straight, perched on the edge of the bed. He ran a hand through his hair, rubbed his eyes, and yawned twice. When he was finally finished, he glanced sideways at the servant, the same servant who had woken him up for as long as he could remember. "Fine, you may stop rolling your eyes. Daily report, Hensley. And don't smirk as you read out the painful tortures that await me." he muttered sarcastically. The wrinkled man held back a smile. Hensley had been his servant since he was a child, and the games they played weren't quite suitable between a prince and a servant. But the prince had no worries, and could care less about the rumors in court. It was his servant, anyway.

The servant stood straight, cleared his throat, and clasped his hands behind his back. "Today, your highness, is the ball." His proclamation was interrupted by a series of groans, emitted from the prince, who had rolled back onto his bed. "The Harvest Dance shall be held tonight, in the ball room. Your father has requested you not to be late." This statement caused the prince to roll his eyes. "Don't worry about your mask and your outfit. We've got it all figured out, your highness. Going by the royal standards, the hue is blue." the old man chuckled at his cleverness in rhyming.

KC crossed his arms, seated once more on the edge of his bed. "And the other kingdom shall be coming here tonight as well?" Hensley nodded, and the young prince narrowed his eyes. Poor Zerrick, going to meet his wife-to-be. And the whole lot of them will be there. The whole, annoying bunch of them. Rising, and signaling his wardrobe servants, the young prince was dressed in his normal attire of white and blue, and was ready to embrace the day. Just not without his usual breakfast, which consisted of crumpets, jam, wine, and sausages. He sat and ate, pondering humorously at today's schedule.

Tristan groaned, waking up to a startling backache. Dazed, he looked around himself, taking in the wooden ceiling, the hay scattered on the floor, and his sword sheathed by his side. Groaning, he sat up, leaning against a stack of hay. He had slept in the stables yet again, something he had been told many times not to do. He sighed, oh well. The sun was just rising, a mere golden dot in the sky, and he could hear servants rushing about already. "Your highness! I apologize, it was my responsibility to ensure you were in your chambers last night. Are you injured?" Tristan's personal servant flitted around, helping him up and looking him up and down. The man's age was at least four times Tristan's and he panted as he searched for injuries. The young prince shook his head no, and waved him off.

"I'm fine, Bromton. Don't apologize, I just fell asleep while I was fencing last night." Tristan protested, reaching for the hilt of his sword, which laid a few feet away. As he slipped the firm black leather sheath through his belt, he listened to the elderly man explain the prince's responsibilities for the day.

"Your highness," he heaved, "Tonight is the Harvest Dance." Taking a breath, he puffed, "The masquerade shall be held.. at the Avalon palace, and your presence is required." The prince nodded in reply, gazing off in the distance. That meant no practicing tonight, and that also meant he would have to wear something stiff and formal. Great. Grimacing, he turned and exited the stables, his servant following closely behind. They weaved in and out of corridors, passing numbers of maids and servants doing their chores. Bromton wheezed as they passed the kitchen, where a sack of flour had apparently exploded. Up the twisting stairs they went, until they reached a heavy wooden door. The prince opened it, and stepped into his room. As one of the youngest siblings, he wasn't noticed very often. All that was required of him was to be at important meetings and events, show up for his lessons, and obey any commands his father gave him. Which weren't many. He was often looked over, as he had many other brothers and sisters the king could go to. Along with that, Tristan wasn't given many servants. He had the prince guard, of course, but that guard was to be shared among all of his brothers. And his had Bromton, his own personal servant. But other than that, he only had one wardrobe servant, and one to clean to the room. Both tasks did not require more help, as Tristan rarely used his room, and preferred to dress himself.

So as the sun rose higher into the sky, only to be hidden by misty clouds, the young prince exchanged clothes for something a bit more formal. Something he could wear and wander throughout the castle, then return to change into his clothes for the masquerade. He hoped to avoid the princesses of the Avalon court, but had a feeling that was not to be the case tonight.

CrystalWas deeply excited she went to ~Arabella, Princess of Elyadons'~
room . "Princess, its ime to get up, you need to eat and get up, may i come in?" she asked lastly. She was not going to reveal her escape to go to the Harvest in her gown, she had been saving money and asked the gown maker to make her a gorgeous gown and mask for the event.

"Come on in Crystal," Arabella smiled at the girl. She's always so nice to me, she thought. I must do something kind for her in return. She smiled at her and gestured for her to come in. "Tell me, are you going as well tonight?" she inquired, looking out the window briefly.

Crystal smiled shyly as she entered , "Well i was hoping to" she said, looking at her hands. She liked being around the princess she was nice and listened to most of her tales and ideas, she would say they were Good Friends. Crystal looked up at her "My you look wonderful!, i bet all the men will just dawdle staring helplessly at you!" she said slightly giggling.

"Good," Arabella smiled. "I don't think I'd be very comfortable without someone I could trust there." She smiled and sat on her bed. "I'm sure you'll have men chasing after you as well," she smiled again. Myself I'm not so sure, she thought, looking down at the edge of her blue gown.

The knight sighed as he stopped hitting the old tree. Tyler sat down on a rock and stared in front of him, taking a break. He studied his hands and realized the Harvest Dance was tonight. The knight doubted if he should go. It wasn't like he was needed there. The princes and princesses had their own guards who would come. Being a guard, that was something Tyler dreamt of. It seemed quite interesting to him. But for now he was just a simple knight. Not that anything was wrong with that... He was only seventeen after all. No, he had loads of time left. Loads. Tyler stood up and coughed once before he continued his morning excersise.
