Denali smiled. His smile soon faded as his mind turned back to the fight. Or the non-fight. He clenched his jaw and closed his eyes, squeezing them shut.

Like only a few healers in the world, Mari had the ability to change her blood type. She read which blood type Ammy was and changed her own blood accordingly. "I'm sorry dear. Hold on; it will soon be over," she whispered, holding her down. Derek knelt with his back against the wall, holding his head in his hands. It killed him to see her like this; he couldn't let her die.

Allure looked at him, and frowned. "It's okay." She said softly, hugging him lightly.

Ammy coughed and coughed, choking on the blood spilling from her nose. She gasped for breath and struggled to hang on to life.

"I know. But the thing is, I'm a fighting murderous killer. I hate giving up." Denali muttered with a small sneer.

Mari's eyes suddenly glowed pure white as she pushed herself to the ultimate limit. She pushed her powers into Ammy's body and repaired the blood vessels and damaged organs. She cleared the blood that was choking the poor girl and cleared her lungs. She quickly repaired the damage to her heart, making it so that it would work normally.

Ammy stopped breathing for five minutes. She fell into painful sleep.

Mari continued repairing Ammy's damaged body, removing her sensitivity, repairing her heart and blood vessels.

Ammy started breathing once more and she fell into sleep.

Allure nodded slowly. "Just try forgetting about it. It could have saved us harm." She said softly.

Mari finished her work and fell backwards, leaning against the table. Her breathing came in ragged gasps as her eyes returned to normal. "Put her in the bed and stay with her, Derek. She needs her rest," she said gently. Derek moved forward and asked, "What about you?" Mari waved a hand airily saying, "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine; just take care of her." Derek picked Ammy up and carried her upstairs. He laid her down gently in the bed and sat down in a chair next to the bed to wait.
