Here is a tip that can help you out so you do not have to wait to see what your pet is from someone answering you:
Go to Google images and look at the search bar. There is an icon that resembles a camera. Go to your pet and right click it, then hit "Copy Image URL". Go back to Google and click on the camera. Paste this URL into the search. This should bring you to to a page that looks like this:

Find either an archive or a previous 18 rerelease thread. Either of these should tell you what the pet will grow up to be.
If you don't find your pet, it is likely that is it a UR and will be worth a lot.
