@Opal: thanks for reposting that, i must of just scrolled over it. Anyway that is great, im glad you figured out how to cue JJ into the canter. I hope that the solution continues to work. Also sounds like Sizzle is doing great, and that he has such a good smooth trot. It sounds like he has alot pf potential of being a good show horse. Also, at least you are catching your self when your post, i kinda do the same thing when im slowing down Scottie i kinda just stand up and i know im no suppost to do that but im doing it less so that's good.
Oh nice alittle extra cash is great to have ecspecially with christmas coming up. And hahaha that is so funny because my mom is doing that too. Though she came up to me and measured my hands. I asked for riding gloves that day so it was pretty obvious. Ill just act surprised when i get them!XD

Just coming on quickly, as I don't have much time.
@rain: I'm really sorry if you think I am off as rude or insulting your seriousness as a rider. I didn't mean that in any way. All I was saying is that I wish I had the opportunities that you do to do all of tha riding. I hope Riley gets better and tha you feel better <3

It seems my computer is glitching, so I can't post anything longer than a paragraph or so before my posts delete. o_o So I won't talk a lot about my lesson, just that I had one--and there's a new pony, and my riding partner is being slightly irritating. AND DOLPHIN, CONGRATULATIONS! <3 That's so high. *shocked face*

Hello there. If you're having a rough day, I hope that the next one is better for you. If you're struggling with things, I'm so proud of you for keeping going. You are amazing.

So on Saturday, it was the first time I tried riding English. Actually it wasn`t as hard as I planned it to be. cx
I sort of enjoyed it, actually. So I asked my trainer if I could do one lesson Western and the other English, and she said sure c:
Since I wanted to learn both anyway, it works so why not?
Anyway, I`m helping out with more lessons, and I`m becoming more social with the kids parents. Since, I can be pretty anti-social if I want to be. And I`m not cleaning out many stalls anymore, I guess that`s good for me cx But I can clean out a stall pretty fast now-a-days, so it`s not a big deal for me if I need to.
But, my trainer warned me to not get attached to a horse, because they come and go at times. Well, I did though. Her name is Whiskey, and she is a bay Thoroughbred with four white socks and a star { not sure if she`s an off the track }. She`s the sweetest thing in the world, and likes to follow me around when I`m in her pasture. Bad thing is that she`s up for adoption and sale, which I`m kind of mad and sad about because she get sold while I`m not there, since I`m only at the ranch one week.
I think I just get attached to horses that are ready to go to a new home :\
I know what you mean about both things. I rode in an english saddle for the first time a few months ago and when i looked at people riding them i always wondered how they managed so stay on without the horn. Anyways being at a resuce, there are lots of horses for adoption and lot to get attached to. I love Mikey alot and before that it was Bert. Bert was so awesome i wanted to lease him in the summer but i think the barn owner sold him so the next weekend (i go every saturday as well) he was gone. Mikey is up for adoption too and im helping with his training but im probably going to cry if i come one weekend and he is gone, though its not easy to adopt out a horse that is untrained so he had that going for him. But his personality and willingness is amazing!
I always wondered how English riders stayed on so I figured that it was difficult to ride. I was wrong, or partly wrong; it wasn`t hard but it wasn`t easy.
Well, Whiskey and Neuhart got bought yesterday; I`m sad but happy for both of them. Neuhart was bought by some rich family, that own a boarding place and Whiskey will be boarded there, since the owners know each other. Turns out the girl that now owns, Whiskey, will be using her as a polo pony. She would be a good polo horse, anyway. I`m happy that I at least got to say goodbye to Whiskey, that was the main that I was worrying about since I knew she was going to be bought soon, and I just didn`t want to face it. She`s going a good family, that`s what matters. Hopefully, I`ll be able to see both of them soon. (:
Bluebird22 wrote:M'ov: I wondered that too! But it's really just devolving the mussels for the English saddle, same for western saddles.
Exactly, I figured that out after riding English (: But it was just so hard to watch at first!
~~
Well, we our going to get three new ponies coming in a few days. My trainer said they`d be fun to have and use for some lessons, so it`s something to look forward too. (:
I said, people
We're all looking for love tonight
But sometimes we can't see it
We're blinded by light
And we all get low, all get low
Searching for that piece of mind
Just when I've given up
Looking for some kind inside
{{. I love me some barrel racing.

Best Day Ever.
Now that I am riding my aunt horse I am really improving. We had a gymkhana today and I got two firsts and two seconds. Afterwards, I played horseback tag with a group of friends. Since I started riding, I have been watching them and wanting to play with them but you are not allowed to play tag with lesson horses.
I galloped a lot while playing and I escaped like three people. I just need to work on my rollbacks.
Probably going to jump tomorrow.

@Mr.Milo: I know right?! I am deffinately going to be stalking Prorodeo.com! and Wpra.com
Well, aparently my mom's friend's sister's husband's dad runs the entire NFR. Talk about amazing! So there is a chance that I'll be running the flag during one of the go rounds of the NFR one year...As well as HOPEFULLY meeting Trevor and Mary and Patrick! Probably not next year, but maybe the year after or something.
There's something to be said for a place that hasn't had all the rough rode out of it.

Feeling pretty mean at the moment, after riding yesterday. One of my horses has a graze where my leg goes [on the side of his belly, behind the girth]. I had found it before my ride, must've been a paddock injury, but didn't realise that it was near where my foot is [but luckily not my spur].
I think I'll rest him till it clears up... ._.
Seeking C$ and WL pets always <3 Feel free to make an offer on any of my open groups or items
