Burrkit dropped Cloudkit and begun to wail. Like a new born kit he cried and cried.

Lillykit stared at the small pile of dirt on the other side of the cave. Thats where they have burried their fathers body.

A small wind got into the cage. A single note played as Cloudheart sat there with his kits.

"Yes you are. They will understand soon.. your a great father ." She flicked her tail to Flarekit, Silverkit, and Frostkit who adored him and meowed "you'll be a great father to these kits..even if the other three don't.. like you. I know these one will Frostice." She nuzzled him trying to comfort him

Frostkit looked at Frostice and meowed, "I love you father."

Frostice looked at his step-son and smiled.

An hour later the kits whent back to camp and into the nursery. Burrkit put Cloudkit to Blueflame's belly knowing he would be hungry.

Frostkit watched Burrkit and hissed in anger.

Frostice nudged Frostkit away from Burrkit not wanting them to fight.

Burrkit and Lillykit fell asleep together on the other side of the nursery. They had to strangest dream. They had got to meet Cloudheart, him mother, and father.
