Hidden Powers (Accepting)

The shrill whistle of the bell rung as the pair sat down in thier seats. "Wait, like the X-men?" she paused. "That would be soooo cool!" She had always had an affection for the series. Hey, don't judge. After the chatter had quieted Mrs. Freare walked to the front of the room, waddling as usial due to a hip injury from several years ago. "Alright class, we will start by collecting your homework from this evening." Crap. With all the excitement from almost dying she had completely forgoten the homework. "And judgeing by the looks you are shooting me many of you forgot. Because I'm feeling generous I'll give you a one day extension. You're welcome." THe calll all breathed a collective sigh or relief.

"Hah thank goodness, right Cara. Oh and yah i geusse kind of like xmen, hey has anything happened to you too?" Coutney asked wondering if she was alone or if itwas somesort of outbreak.

"Yeah, right. I would have been so dead if she hadn't given an extension." She paused then dropped into a whisper. "Actualy, now that you mention it, yeah. I was dirt biking near that old factory when it exploded. I crashed into a tree, but walked away without a scratch." If both of them had been at the factory, it meant something wierd was going on. "My brother had to be called from the lab to help analize the crime scene. He's been really bussy due to the bodys they've found there."

"Hey maybe we should ask your brother if he has noticed anything strange. I mean if this happened to both of us near the factory maybe he has been affected to!" Courtney realized that if it was connected to the factory then there could be almost any number of affected people.

"I guess you're right. We'll go there after school and see if anyhing happened. He might also know exactly why these strange things might be happening." She'd just finished the scentence when Cara heard a loud cough from the from of the room. "Is there anything you'd like to share ith the class you two?" There stood Mrs. Feraer, giving us her best evil eye. "No Mam." How embarising. "Good now, let us continue." Whith that the class returned to the lesson, and Cara kept an eye on the clock, counting the minutes untill this was over.

personality: She doesnt really talk to many people as she feels that they wont accept her. She feels like a loner and this reflects on her a lot of the time. She cares deeply for her brother as he is the only family she has left. When it comes down to making big decicions she is very good at it but does have a temper if you annoy her even a little bit.
family: The only family she has left is her 14 year old brother Logan. Her mother and father died two years ago and she has never really gotten over their deaths yet.

History (how you obtained this power): She was walking through the forest and came to the river near the old factory. She spotted the footprint of a wolf embeded in the wet mud at the side of the river. She wished that she knew what it felt like to have the strength of a pack behind you and what it must be like to be able to run, jump, fight and just live with the power and strength of a wolf. She started walking away distracted and tripped over. When she turned around she saw a wolf standing on the other side of the river reflected in the water. When she blinked it was gone. She now realizes that the wolf wasnt on the other side of the river but it was actually her reflected as a wolf.

Part time job: She works at the local pet shop taking care of the animals.
objectives: She wants to work with animals as a zoologist or something along those lines.

secrets: Her parents were murdered in front of her and she longs for revenge and she swears she would do anything to get it and she would have hunted the murderer down after she got her powers if it wasnt for the fact that she needed to look after her little brother.

When the bell final rung for the end of the day and the end of the class Cara and Courtney headed out together to find her brother. "So where do you think James will be?" Courtney asked as they headed to the parking lot.

Chelsea ran to catch up with Courtney and Cara. She had heard what they were talking about in class and wanted to tell them about what had happened to her. "Hey guys wait up!"

“Oh, Hey Chelsea. What’s up?" Courtney said as she turned around to greet Chelsea with a worried look on her face as she was anxious to get going.
