They are very fair. Everyone with a custom worked very hard to make CS a good place and deserve a reward for their hardwork.

i think it is SOME times like for tess and nick and mods like that is ok but for them to just give them about random is not fair and to give them to people who dont want them it just makes me a bit mad cuz i really want one and them who do probably dont get how special they are

I don't think it's fair that people complaining about staff members having customs are the same people that cause so much trouble on the site.

It's not random-- they're for staff members or (occasionally) people who are good friends with one or more of the staff. Tess used to give them to people who've made her really, really awesome art.

If there was a custom for everyone who wanted one "the most" it would just be ridiculous.

Umm, they aren't given out at random. The recievers work hard for them. And I would think they would want them, since they let them make them a custom in the first place. And I'm sure they know how special they are, you don't know their thoughts to know if they do or not. ^^
