Chief ran around the huge yard. He flew through a flock of birds and they scattered around him and into the air. Chief laughed and jumped into the air.

Cali walked out of the room she was left in by herself. She silently walked to the backyard where her dog was. She sat down in a chair, laid back. Laying next to her dog, soaking in the leftover sunlight.

Chief laughed as they tried to catch the birds. When the birds were out of sight, he crashed onto the grass panting.

The stray pup walked around outside. He was muddy and cold. He was shaking all over. He walked up to a large building and looked around. There must be some humans around here. He walked up to the porch and found a window open. He climbed inside and jumped down. He flinched as he landed and a wave of mud flew from around his feet. He smelled something good from the left and followed the scent. He left a trail of muddy prints in his wake until he reached the kitchen. He found a sandwhich someone had left on the table and climbed up. He slowly grabbed the sandwhich and ran out the way he came. He escaped out the window before being spotted.

Hayden nodded and walked with her out of the room. He walked her to the door and opened it for her.
