I like the sound of Fae. I can use this. >:D

So, war type scenario between Fae and Faeries? Except their both on the small edge of things(think Arietty-size for those who watched that movie) so this would all be occurring say, in a place the size of a park. They'd be magical beings, and there'd be normal-sized humans(children?) who get involved in this somehow, maybe some sort of pact with the peoples of one side, with promises of riches or out of the good of their heart or whatever.
Thought up on the spot. A more developed version might come eventually.

I love playing fae. I have a half siren-half ghille dhu character who thinks like...well, a tree, water, and music. He loves children of all types, he does not particularly like adult humans, and he is a complete pacifist, even to the point in which he will use his magic to defend himself only to the bare minimum required. That is, so long as he can photosynthesize frequently enough (tree...). If not, the siren side comes out more, and then humans are food, much to his later horror. xD

That awkward moment when you want to smack your head against a wall because you realize your new 1x1 partner who is "high semi- lit and has great spelling and grammar" can't spell at all, and don't have nice sentence structure >.<

That's why I always look at their posts before agreeing. Even if they have no RPs or short replies in non-semi-lit, you can at least see if they bother with spelling, grammar, and punctuation in their posts.

Speaking of which, the terms are so subjective. Some people base the levels on post size, grammar, and spelling. Personally, I'd rather put up with a few mistakes in grammar and spelling than deal with someone who A) isn't creative B) Can't create a legit character [Mary Sue, no personality, no character development] C) can't hold the plot together or add to it. One of my best 1x1 partners always put "of" instead of "have". It drive me a little batty, but he was SO darn creative that I let it go.

:(
I am pretty sure some of you would hate to RP with me based on some of the things I am reading. My grammar sucks, and I have to use the automatic spell check on Firefox to spell some of the time. I just cannot do it, it sucks but I can't spell and nothing seems to help.

But I don't know what the difference between there, their and they're are. So I just use There for simplicities sake. But the difference between me and other roleplayers? If I make a mistake I would want you to tell me, and explain why it's wrong. So if I use there instead of their....tell me? And tell me why it should be the other one, I may not remember perfectly but it would help me both in RP's and when writing my book.

I see lots of people on here complaining about bad grammar or spelling and saying it stops them wanting to roleplay with someone, but none of you seem to realise...this may actually apply to some members of this club, it may sometimes be unavoidable. If it bothers you, tell them. Explain why, try to help rather than complaining behind there back. It may end up that you stop roleplaying together and they take it really badly, but I might end up with you helping them become a better roleplayer and someone who feels more complete when they can double there post length.

I know that if it wasn't for some people on this website, and others helping me...then I would never have had the confidence to think I could class myself as a semi-lit roleplayer. I would never have joined this club and met some of you amazing people who I love to talk to and roleplay with.
Having serious issues viewing dark colours at the moment. May delay replys to pms. Sorry.

The Leopard Pups
Grey, Black and White. The world revolves and we go with it. Twisting in this everlasting monotony, eyes of green and gold, watching and waiting for our chance, our time. Cytor, Liliana, Serenade, Bayonet, the Prankster, the sweet one, the mother and the lost soul. There birth was a lost event, one in a million, two wandering souls met in the shadows, and these four were created. There pups are the stuff of legend, one lost there sight, one lost there path, one lost there love and the other? The other lost his family, everyone they cared about. He lost his family.

I know I have sucky spelling, that's why I have google chrome with it's spell check installed on my computer so I can see which words have spelling mistakes. But I hope I'm not that bad since I do take English Literature at college standard. I do realize I suck at some things when it comes to writing, but I really do have pet peeves about people messing up there, their and they're. Also when people mess up borrow and lend, that just winds me up...

I do actually try to help. I often point out the semi-literate school that is advertised on the front page to those who I think it would benefit, or casually point out that google chrome has a spell checker that comes in handy. However it is hard to outright tell someone 'Dude, you can't spell', so people are more likely to complain about it behind someone's back to check that there are others in the same situation. I am also not going to say that I was an amazing roleplayer right from the off, my first post was pretty much a one-liner. Yet I don't take criticism well, and this is why I don't criticize people - because I usually get upset when people criticize me, so much so that I managed to pull a stupid maneuver on my driving lesson and ended up crying because even though I knew I'd done it wrong, the driving instructor pointing it out made me feel terrible. So as a rule, I don't criticize. (However if you want to criticize me, feel free to, I will appreciate it once I get over the crying...)

Also, posting length has nothing to do with grammar.

I don't actually know how you guys post paragraphs and paragraphs of stuff. I'm a journalist, my descriptive abilities are nil because I condense my writing. I should probably work on being descriptive though and I know this, also why I don't ask on here for 1x1s because it's a little intimidating.

There - saying something is somewhere; 'There is an apple on the desk.'
Their - saying something is someone's; 'That is their bag.'
They're - a shortened term of 'they are'; 'They are extremely happy.'

I am going to go do something productive now. Bye!
