Why is your character not working at the old job?/ Is your character with the old love interest?
He is not working at his old job due as, in his mind, he now has a better one. He had been teaching a year eight class for over six months. His eye kept being drawn to a pretty young girl who sat at the front of the class. Her name was Ellen Compton. Her silky blonde hair reminded him of gold, and her baby blue eyes were so amazing he felt he would fall into them. He knew she was attracted to him too, as he had found her name linked with his in the back of her exercise book - Mrs Ellen (last name). Instead of leaving it there and going to the headmaster about it, he encouraged it. He gave her jobs after class which meant they were alone in the classroom together. It was lucky Ellen was not a shy girl, as the first time this happened he asked “How do you feel about me?” Ellen poured out her heart and soul to him, telling him how much she loved him. At the end she blushed and turned away, murmuring, “But it can never be, can it?” She turned to find him crouched down next to her, staring into her eyes. “Oh, but it can.” he whispered.
It started off innocent at first, kisses after class, whispered messages of love in the corridor. A few weeks after that first day he asked Ellen to his apartment. They made out on his double bed, him whispering sweet nothings in her ear. She left at four, promising she would she see him at school the next day, as she had told her parents she had an after school club. He sat up in his bed, wishing for more.

So did I, and I'll drop a shocker on you: I'm anti-social in "real life". People judge me before they bother to to even know me, and everyone looks down on me except for my friends. That's the basic, somewhat sad reality for me. I adapted to this by becoming bitter on the outside, especially to strangers. I've been compared to a geode before, oddly enough. x3 Not to sound over-dramatic, of course.
