Moon woke up in the middle of the night, hearing her name being called. She followed the sound until she saw two starry figures in the distance, when she crept closer she saw it was her parents. "Mommy, Daddy!" She whispered happily as she nuzzled there starry fur. "Be happy with your new mother Moon, but remember, Stars are never far away." There images faded. Moon was alone.

Gina opened her eyes looking down on her adopted daughter "you ok moon ?" she asked quietly not wanting to wake up the others .

"Y-yeah, I thought I saw something, thats all." Moon walked back to bed with Gina.

Moon curled up in the nest and looked up at the sky. She saw two stars flicker very close to the full moon. And, Moon smiled. "The stars are never far away..." Moon repeated.

gina licked the pups head "you sure your alright moon ?" i asked softly .

"I'm sure, just thinking." Moon closed her eyes. She caught a wisp of her deceased mothers sweet scent enclose her, but soon vanished. "Perfectly fine." Moon sighed sleepily.

gina nodded slightly covering the pup with her tail and curling around her "good night <sleep tight dont let the ants bite (XP).

Moon looked up scarred for a moment. "We have ants?!" Moon squeaked nervously...

Gina laughed slightly "no moon its a saying dont worry just go to bed "

"Oh- okay, Night Gina." Moon nuzzled close and fell asleep.
