Kumar ran blind and a cinder of fire went on his back hind leg. Kumar squealed in agony. He finally opened his eyed and saw Gracie and Heshey a few inches ahead of him. He pushed ahead despite the pain in his leg. He said,"Gracie,I'd thought i lost you and Heshey forever."

Cloud looked at Joker. "Fire. Let's go." He breathe, seeing the fire in the distance.

Archer ran along a levi, twisting his head in search of anything. He spotted Cleo,Lady, and Vixen in the valley bellow. He started to turn down and go to them but the fire leapt between them. He gasped and turned back onto the Levi. He had no choice, he couldn't get to them. He raised his head and called out as loud as he could to them. He was okay. He would head towards the river.

Koal nudged Empire along, they were close to the river and it wouldn't take long now. "The fires coming", he said. He turned, glancing down the hill to see the fire in the distance, the fire and shadows of horses running before the flames.

Dream nudged Sunni along. "Fly, i cant..wait." she gasped looking at him then back at her tiny colt beside her. She sighed and continued to push him along.

[mindless.]

Empire moved a few steps but fell with a whinny. "Why must you choose now?" The mare groaned as a wave of pain passed over her belly. Her foal was coming.


Cleo whinnied with sadness back she cold not see him during this fire. "Daddy!!" Vixen cried out. Cleo nosed her filly "Come on." She nudged Vixen in the opposite direction toward the lake. She looked to Lady to follow. "You can lean on me if you need to."

Koal flattened his ears. "Not now!" He sighed, nudging her reassuringly then glancing back at the fire

Archer pumped his legs, sending him flying forward. The heat of the flames bit at his legs. His breathing was harsh from running and the smoke.

[mindless.]

By the time a dark foal lied curled by her feet the fire had neared. Empire nosed it and stood, growing deeply worried. "K-Koal..." Her heart was stone. The foal was perfectly still.


Cleo whinnied as her filly clumsily shot toward Archer. "Vixen no!" She screamed as the filly flew off. Finding a spot she could firlt over with a leap, the filly flew over it. Cleo skidded to a stop as the fire rose back up after Vixen. Vixen landed with a disgracful thud as her legs failed. A sting of a burn on her hind legs made her get up and follow her father. "Daddy wait!"

Kierra
She lifted her head and watched the fire from the distance. The flames were making their glorious assent into the dark skies, looking like a glowing crown placed upon the land. She was still scared of losing Castiel or Maverick. She just got them both in her life and didn't want to think of what she'd do if she lost them.

Castiel
He started to calm down and nuzzled both his parents softly. He looked up at his mother then turned to his father. "I'm sleepy."

Koal's heart slammed in his chest. He held Empires worried glance. He nudged the foal, trying to warm it up or move it a little.

Archer circled around, nudging Vixen forward. He would not ask her about it now. "hurry." He yelled over the roar of the flames.

Ginger: snorts at the other horses and wonders around trying to find a herd asi neigh i wait for a reply i plod around for a little while waiting and hoping i get in a herd soon...

Ginger is now a grown horse))

[Catastrophic]

Fly dropped to Dreams side "we don't have far to go, I promise once we reach those mountains we'r safe, all that's around them is rock and moss, the fire can't spread over the rock and the moss is too separated to catch alight." he said helping Sunni along softly.

Lady limped along she couldn't believe it when she saw the filly leap over the flames there was no way she could chase after her so she turned to Cleo "you have to follow her, i'll meet you there" she said limping away at a sort of trot.

Grace emerged out of the smoke to see Kumar waiting for them she coughed and shook her coat covered by the thick layers of smoke.

Kumar shook off the ash and smoke that had accumlated on his grey coat. Kumar said,"It's okay Gracie I'm here." He whinnyed in pain because of the burn on his hind leg. He coughed again, and said,"We got to find away out of here."
