Rarity thought, " Today is my birthday, oh well, no one needs to celebrate for me! I can celebrate for myself! " she hummed as she worked, she cute the ribbon and material, then started making a dress. Suddenly a letter slipped through the door, " What's this? " she wondered out loud. She look at the letter and read, " Dear Rarity, you are invited to the garden party in canterlot... " she gasped, " Oh my gosh! The garden party! I will pack my things! " she exclaimed, she took out her bag and packed materials, she then wrote a letter which said, " Dear friends or vistors, I am closed, and am away for today. and pinned it on her door outside, she took Opal and place in her bag and trotted towards the train. She boarded the train and sat down, she thought, " I am glad pinkie pie didn't throw me a birthday party! Or I will miss this for sure! " she sighed happily, and took out her sun glasses and wore them, and sat quietly.

Vinyl sees Rarity and trots up to her. "Hey girl where are you in such a hurry to?" She said as she removed her headphones and smiled. "Happy birthday by the way. Tavi wanted me to give you this." She used her magic to pull a blue diamond out from her saddlebags. "She knows her much you like gems and stuff...then again what pony doesn't?"

Rarity walked out of the train and sees Vinyl, and walk over and took the diamond with her magic "Why, thank you! " Rarity said, she flicked her mane and smile, " Haven't seen Tavi in a while's. We should hold a gathering of friends! Anyway, I am in a rush to the canterlot castle, I was to stay in a room there. " she said and trotted off.

Vinyl heads towards the ballroom where the gala is normally held and starts getting her sound equipment set up and sound tested. She was asked to DJ for a party, but she wasn't told for who or what so she didn't really know what to play. So she just made up a playlist of the normal boring classical music that people in Canterlot seemed to like so much. "How can ponies stand to listen to this?" She said out loud to herself. "Why didn't they just ask Octavia to do it?"

Rarity changed into her dress, and wore some beautiful shoes. And then, she wore a necklace, and combed her hair a 100 times before doing the perfume and headed to the garden party, she hummed softly.

Sarah trotted through canterlot. She had been invited as well since she was an exchange student from China. She paused a bit at the sound of humming, which was coming from a window. She peeked curiously.

She is out at the garden.. -_-

Rarity glance, " Good day Fancypants! " she said nervously, then went to drink some punch, she was worried that Fancypants will think low of her. She saw some ponies coming, and trotted off quickly, she watched then play some what games, and sighed quietly. She walked towards to the food table, and took a cupcake, she nibble it slowly.

Seeing no one was in the window, Sarah assumed she had misheard. She turned toward the garden party.

Rarity sighed, fancy pants was busy talking, she wished she knew somepony else here. "This is like a disaster.." she whispered softly. She trotted back to the canterlot castle and went to take a shower. She combed her hair, and curled her hair, before looking at the diamond she was given. She created into a necklace, Like this(click) on celestia neck but Diamond different. She wore it and smile, she pat Opal, and fed her, her food, before going on her bed. She sighed, she will return later. Right now, she hadn't prepared herself, and yet, it wouldn't start for ages. She put on the mud mask, and the cucumber after she prepared a warm both, she lay back and relaxed. She hadn't relaxed like this for ages, with Pinkie pie inviting her to parties, and doing dress orders, and designing. She hadn't even had much free time with her pony friends. " Even not able to chat with my six best friends this week.. Twilight, Rainbowdash, Applejack, fluttershy, pinkiepie.. Even spike dont have free time to help me with stuff as usual.. " she thought quietly, if only she could have one day with her friends.. But she had too much orders to finish! Simply too terrible, she still need to design them.. She stayed for an hour before drying herself, and then started designing the dresses, she took her color markers and colored in the colors, "Glad I brought materials!" she said. Then started making, she still had plenty of time till the acutul starting of the garden party. It was supposed to be at night, she had came too early.
