5. Leaving for Dead: This occurs when there is a multi-person player role play (lets say five people for example) and three go offline. The remaining two post about an entire page or more of posts for the characters. When the others come back they find a greatly annoying surprise for them. Sometimes, they may request a quick fill-in as an easy way to catch up. But constantly typing up what has just happened can get frustrating, or some people may not do it at all. Bottom line, be courteous of other role players and restrain from posting a million posts between two people.

"Well, Cuan, my pack is held together with the single aspiration to return Lord Sun to the skies, and light the world once again. We're all working together on this mission, for the sake of the world. I fear that it will not be easy, however. We've had it very well, these first few weeks. But soon, I believe it will become much worse for us all." Ayet said, trying to spare the female from his philosophies and beliefs as much as he could. It was hard, as he had much faith in his cause. Seeing the moon lowering, he sighed. It would soon be much darker. They should hurry and find a few sticks, or some rocks, so that they could light a few fires for light (I know, they don't have thumbs, but pretend they can light fires the boyscout way).

"You may stay with us if you want; I must go attend to my pack now, though." He said, starting to get up and look for Torka or Snowdrift. Torka was to be given his rank today - but he also should see Snowdrift, Anwell, Cloudburst, Fern, or Robyn. Snowdrift is good at building things, so no doubt she'd be able to help with making fires; but the others were also strategists, and very smart. They might be able to offer assistance, too.

"That's quite interesting, but I most likely should not be talking with an outsider,"Timid Dart recalled sadly.She glanced over at him, something like longing in her eybes. Deep longing for a friend. IT was something she had always felt and known, but had ignored in fear that it may make things worse.

"I'm... sorry. I didn't know the way of your pack," he sighed and let his head slump down.
"Goodbye," he woofed, glancing over his shoulder. He padded into the shadowy trees, wondering about the look in her eyes. Was it sorrow? Love? Friendship? All he knew was that she was looking for something that an object cannot fulfill.
And then he thought for a moment. He was her friend, and if he wanted to be with her, then he should do something.

Timid Dart sighed, looking at the ground. She just did not want to risk getting kicked out of the pack. A life like Kyero's was just to dangerous. She opened her mouth to say something, but stopped before she made a sound. The wolf felt sadness, almost like guilt. She did know that was exactly what it was. Timid Dart finally said,"Wait,"She instantly regretted it. Too late now.

Toko saw Ayet was heading off to talk to the others and he quickly bounded up to him. He wanted to get the chance to speak privately to his friend before the hustle-bustle of the camp. "Hey Ayet!" he said, "I was wondering.... Who are you going to make mentor Torka...?"

Haru restlessly paced around camp, he couldn't stand being alone. Where were the other healers? What if someone got hurt or he forgot the herbs? Sighing, he butted his head against a tree and stood with his head shoved against the tree, trying to figure out what he would do in the future.

Myst flicked his tail lazily as he lay next to the lake, one paw in the water. His belly was full and his thirst was quenched, he was actually quite satisfied, despite the conditions. He saw Ayet begin to walk towards the pack. He'd go when Ayet called them together, he decided.

Ayet bit his lip. He had not thought of who should mentor the pup, with all that was happening. "I am... Not sure. Do you have any ideas?" He asked his beta, wondering if it was best to pick Toko. Toko and Torka were fairly close; though that could be said with almost every wolf here and Torka. It was hard not to like the little fellow.

{{I'm back! I'm so sorry for missing so much. My cadets just the annual parade, and I've been spending the last 2 months practicing. It go really intense on monday, and we practiced all week from 18:30 to 21:30. And during the day, I was working on a construction site for habitat for humanity. I'm so tired, so tonight I'm probably just going to read what I missed. I may or may not post. If i don't post tonight, it'll be tomorrow.}}

{{ok, I lied. I read it all pretty quickly, so i'll post now. I'm going to assume it's dawn, because it matches with Torka and Ayet waking up. If I'm wrong, tell me and I'll fix up this post. Kubinashi is still alive, btw, he just has no computer so he goes to an e-cafe. Unfortunately he's broke, paying his bills and what not, so he asked me to post for him.}}

Niko's stretched slowly, trying to work out the kink in her neck. She ate the fish Ryo and Tobi had left for her quickly. It tasted kind of stale, since it was left out all night, but it was a welcomed gift to her rumbling stomach. She stood and looked around, but it hurt to keep her head up, so she let it hang as she walked. Pawing over to the water's edge, she took a few steps in, then lay down. She rolled on to her back, trying to wash the wound on her neck. It stung horribly, but she put up with it. She shook off and walked over to Haru, giving him a questioning glance before sitting down near him. "Are you trying to push the tree over?" She asked calmly. Maybe he could help heal her wound. On her neck were the marks of a bite, the shape of any other wolves. The only difference was the teeth marks themselves were a scary red-ish black. There was a spot in the middle, and it seemed like the tooth marks had slight tails leading towards it. No matter how you looked at it, this marking was bizarre.

Tobi and Ryo blinked their eyes open together. They seemed to have fallen asleep under the roots of a tree. Tobi licked her lips, tasting the blood of the mouse family they had found living under here before they took it over. She had felt bad, eating such small animals, but there was nothing that could be done. She chose to lay there, and Ryo got up, crawling through the small gap in the roots to the clearing. He saw Torka sitting, and raced up to him, skidding to a halt in front of him. He and Tobi were younger than Torka by around 7 months, so he looked up to the other pup. "You're gunna be a fighter today! You get a mentor and everything! That's so cool! Who do you want to mentor you?" The words seemed to rush out of the pups mouth, and his wagging tail made his whole body sway back and forth with energy. One day, he'd be a big strong fighter, just like Ayet and Toko and Niko and soon Torka. One day, he'd be strong enough to protect Tobi, and be able to keep her safe.

Cuan followed slowly behind the leader, until he had gone out of sight. She just followed his scent now. Padding along slowly, she thought to herself You don't want to hurt anymore wolves. Leave them be! But she carried on following. Maybe this was her chance to put things right? To get rid of it?

Coming up to the pack she saw they were all getting excited. Some talk of becoming a fighter for one wolf. She just stood off to one side, silent and quite awkward.

Kyero heard a noise, but was to far away to understand it. He flicked his ear towards it and stopped, waiting to see if the sound was made again.
