Am I the only person who hates Derpy Hooves?

She makes fun of handicapped children.

The word "Derp" Is made by Two guys acting like handicapped kids. I have a handicapped brother. This character offends me, and being om A CHILDRENS SHOW makes it worse. I almost started hating the show because of it.

{Handicapped means children who have disabilities - born that way, they cant talk, have a bad ear, ect. }

A simple, undefined reply when an ignorant comment or action is made.

a person who acts strange,weird, and/or random, usually quite fun to be around due to the fact that this person is an oddball and does and/or says interesting things.

I'm sorry, but Hasbro JUST got over a fight about this. Derp is not an offensive word, it is a word you use when you mess up. If I were to trip, my friend would say derp. Disability means disability, derp does not.

I love Derpy because I'm a lot like her sometimes.I'm very clumsy and I trip over my own two feet.I think we all (and don't shot me for this.) have a little bit of a derp in use....Some more than others.*points to self.*

I don't hate Derpy, but I don't really like her, either. I like as much as any other over-rated background pony, such as DJ Pony, Octavia, Lyra. None of them really interest me that much.
The only background ponies I really like are Dr Whooves, because he is a crossover to Doctor Who, and Rose Luck, becuase when I first saw her while watching Applebuck Season for the second time I fell in love with her design. I also like Nurse Redheart a bit. Her cutiemark inspired my ponysona's.

I much prefer ponies who play an actual part in the story.

And on the topic of Derp, I am a derp, not disabled. Disabled means physically or mentally unable to do certain things. Derp just means clumsy or forgetful.

Same. My favorite background character is Sea Swirl <3 I got her blind bag, and did a little research on her. I just love her personality, and I just got her best friend's blind bag too, Sassaflash. ^-^

I think it's pretty cool that Luna (And possibly some other alicorns) can go into other's dreams and help or sabotage it. If I had that power I would sneak into my little sister's dreams and give them nightmares about me strangling them to death.
