Cleo sniffed the thick night air. A flash of warm light made her whinny with panic.
"FIRE!"
The white mare stayed put though, now desperate to find her filly. "Go Lady! Please you are already hurt. Archer can come back here to meet you. I-I will be right back." She said quickly and darted into the forest in the blaze's path in search of Vixen. Not to mention the filly still could not live alone, as she could not yet handle solid food. "Vixen!"

Kumar whinned in shock,"Gracie where are you,Hershey, come to daddy."

Maverick neighed in panic. Mav said ,"Cas, come to daddy, Kierra, there's a fire wev'e got to get out off the path of it,now."

Hershey looked across the lake it was lit by a soft orange glow the smell of smoke filled his nostrils and he instantly went towards his father for protection.

Grace had been napping under a tree it was the first proper rest she had had since little Hershey arrived she was woken by the whinnies of others and looked around she could see a soft glow in the distance and the smell of smoke filled her nostrils.

Lady limped affter Cleo she couldn't leave her but she couldn't keep up either and pretty soon she was lost she couldn't see the fire and didn't know she was heading toward it.

He turned, fear seeping into his expression. He whinnied and stood next to his father. "What's going on?"

Kierra
She turned to look at the fire, her eyes wide. Her nostrils flared. She turned back to Maverick quickly only to look at her frightened son. She could feel his fear. She looked back up to Maverick. "Where should we go? We have to get out of here."

Sentia was grazing in a nearby field when she smelt smoke,she looked up to see a bright,hot,orange glow getting closer,she whinned and turn and ran ,soon she came to the lake,she could hear the whinning of horses on the opposite side,"Now what?" she asked herself.

Maverick was seriously scared. He answered,"Cas,we have to get away from here , see that orange and red stuff that's fire it woould hurt us." He all he knew he had to lead his family away from the blaze. He gently nudged Cas and Kierra to a section of forest that was nowhere near the blaze.After he urged them to go there ,he went as well.

Kumar asked fraciticially,"Gracie, where are you ?" He coughed , and put his grey head next to Hershey.

Roxanne looked up with a yawn, "What's going on?" She asked and slowly stood up groaning before walking over to him. She nuzzled up to him yawning quietly.

A familiar scent caught her sttention. "Vixen I am on my way!" Cleo yelled and winced as a part of the blaze licked her hind leg. Owowowowoooooow....The mare finally spotted the filly. She had scrapes and looked terrified, now a few small burns. Vixen was relieved and scared out of her mind and staggered after Cleo. She headed toward Lady. "Let's get out of here...I am sure Archer will be okay." Vixen nipped at her mother. "Wheres daddy?"

Kierra
She hurried Castiel along to follow Maverick to the trees where the fire had not reached. She was breathing heavily, scared of what might happen. She hugged Castiel, pulling him to her side with her head. "Shh. Things will be alright," she soothed.

Castiel
He looked around, between his mother and father, confused about what was happening to the world around him. His mother tried comforting him, but it wasn't working all that well. He looked to his father.
